When the Bartali Charnel House collapsed after an earthquake, the skeletal remains of an unidentified person who was kept hidden for years surfaced. The name Olivia Bartali was stitched on the shroud that wrapped the remains. An adventurer tried to uncover the secret behind the name, however, everyone remained silent.

Leonardo opened his eyes and saw a woman greet him. Her name was Olivia Bartali. That was the first time they met and they fell in love with each other.

Olivia Bartali and Leonardo Seric were already in love the minute they laid eyes on each other. They were madly in love and unaware of each other's social status.
Leonardo said he had some thing to show and removed an armor from the bag fastened onto the horse. To Olivia's horror, the armor was engraved with the insignia of Calpheon, which was the kingdom at war with Balenos.

A mistake by one of Olivia's handmaid was responsible for starting this unfortunate event. King Bartali was furious after learning the fact that Leonardo was from Calpheon. The king imprisoned Leonardo and locked Olivia away inside a tower. The king then hurriedly arranged a marriage between Olivia and the Do****att family of Serendia.

Their love was pure, but it was a crime for someone in line for the throne to court the princess of a land his country was waging war against. Leonardo told Priest Lehard about this event when he returned to Calpheon. Saddened to hear the unfortunate event, Priest Lehard worked to find a peaceful resolution between the two nations.
Shortly after,Lehard asked Leonardo to accompany the Church of Elion on a mission to Olvia. A chance was given for Leonardo to escape to Keplan together with Olivia.

Leonardo Seric, the prince of Calpheon, finally returned to Olvia. With the help of Elionian Church and the soldiers of Balenos, Leonardo planned to help the princess escape from the tower. Then, with the help of the Elionian Church, Leonardo and the princess will ride the steed that was prepared for their escape and go to Keplan.

Did love blind him to the point where he was careless? Leonardo unintentionally revealed his identity to others which attracted unwanted attention. There were those that feared that this would eventually strain ties with Balenos. They got one of Leonardo's men to lead him to Balenos. What awaited Leonardo was not Olivia, but a trap to ensnare him.

Leonardo would've looked for a way out of this dilemma if it had ended there, but misfortune never comes singly. One of the soldiers stabbed Leonardo on the back of the neck. Because the culprit was one of the soldiers that was with Leonardo, there was little time for the other soldiers to react to the event that unfolded.

Olivia was the last person Leonardo saw. It looked as if she didn't recognize who he was. Was it because of his attire or the fact that his clothes were drenched in blood? In spite of how things turned out, Leonardo was elated to see Olivia one last time as he drew his final breath.

It was truly an interesting story. Leonardo Seric had fallen in love with the princess of the land they were waging war against. He instinctively understood that this was his golden opportunity. He informed the Erne family and received support.
