What's an SD/Chibi Character (or Chibi style character)?
S.D or Chibi is a style of caraticature common in anime an manga where characters are drawn in an exaggerated way, typically small and chubby with stubby limbs, oversized heads, and minimal details.

Select two or more classes from Black Desert and create an SD character design for it.
- The design is intended to be used in a keychain, so read the "Design Format" section below for more details.
- The design needs to resemble to one of the Black Desert classes. You can create your own character but it needs to have details related to the default class.
Upload your design to the official forums > "Art & Media" Category > Event with the title [Server][SD Character Contest]

Design Format
Keep in mind the following format when creating your SD character design for the contest:
① Image size: up to 7 cm square (300 dpi or more)
② Image format: PNG, JPG (Best .ai file or PDF)
③ File size: 10 MB
- When creating the keychain it is possible that certain limitations might be applied to the design. If this is the case we will contact you with more information.
- You might not be able to upload certain types of files to the forums, that is why we will ask them later if you get to be one of the winners of the contest.
* Additional notices
- The goal of this event is to create an SD/Chibi character design of one of the classes of Black Desert and later to make them in a real keychain design.
- Multiple participations are allowed for this contest, however, only one can be selected as a winner.
- General winners (2 from EU and 2 from NA) will be selected by an internal voting done through Pearl Abyss staff members.
- The number of likes on the forum posts does not affect the outcome of the winners.
- The number of winners is subject to change depending on the number of participants.
- Pearl Abyss reserves the right to change or cancel the event depending on mitigating circumstances. If changes are made, they can be found on this event page.
- Please note that pictures uploaded for this event may be shared through our Black Desert social media channels.
- Pearl Abyss reserves the right to the ownership of adaptation rights for all pictures, videos, and all other content submitted for this event. Pearl Abyss may also use these contents at its own discretion for promotional purposes without restrictions to time or location.
- If you are found to have participated in the event inappropriately (using another person’s work, using artificial intelligence, etc.), you may be disqualified from the event, have any prizes withdrawn, and have your account restricted even after the winners' announcement. (E.g., copying something uploaded to another site.)
- Due to delivery constraints, participants outside the service regions (EU and NA) might not be eligible for physical prizes.
