Adventurers, here are [GM] Velia & [GM] Polly bringing you some of our personal highlights from Summer!
SummerFiesta Event
Meanwhile, we also had 3 weeks of continuous events hosted by the GMs. We want to thank everyone who joined and made these events possible. We hope you enjoy the mementos we gathered here and hope they bring you a lot of memories!
EU Week 2
Day 1: Yes/No quiz
For the first day, GMs really wanted to know the extensive knowledge of the Adventurers of Black Desert! Around Calpheon Castle our Adventurers showed us what they know! But the Black Spirit stole all the answers before the GMs could say them. To respect Black Spirit wishes we won’t tell them here as well!
- Was Valkyrie Awakening the first to be released in BDO?
- Is there a total of 23 classes in Black Desert?
- Are Drakania Awakening and New Season coming next week on the 27th?
Adventurer’s thoughts:
A: “Thanks for hosting the event, was a lot of fun!”
GM Velia: “Now we can see who reads the patch notes and those who don’t hehe”

Day 2: Hunt the GM
Have you ever thought about Hunting the GM but expert level? That’s what GMs hosted for the second day! With a variety of Riddles, the GMs organized a true treasure GM hunt! The GMs still look back fondly to the riddles and reminisce on the first Adventurers to find them. Even though some Adventurers couldn’t find them, we still hope you had a fun time trying to find the answer!
“I'm a lover of the night.
I'm in every city and always in the shadows.
Today I decided to visit the city where it all began
Where the traitor swore war on a Kingdom.
Find me and I may tell you more about that tale
Afterward, we can go to the docks...”
Adventurer’s thoughts:
A: “Ty for this event All GM, funny ^^”
B: “thanks for the event and buffs, as always, youre awesome :3”
Day 3: Hide & Seek From the GM
What if instead of GMs hiding from the Adventurers, they searched for the Adventurers on a small Hide & Seek game? That’s exactly what happened on the third day! Adventurers had to join the GMs in Northern Wheat Plantation and they had to hide inside the limits of the node war zone. In order to avoid any unfair tactics by the GMs, Adventurers were advised to crouch in order to not appear on the map/for their names to be seen! (Did you know this cool tip?)
The Adventurer’s goal was to reach the "Safe Zone", which was the huge haystacks in the middle of town.
Adventurer’s thoughts:
A: “they still didnt find me im literally on their toes”
B: “Ty for the fun”
Day 4:GM Says with a Twist!
And for the last day of this week, GMs hosted the classic GM Says again, but filled with baiting catchphrases, twists, and even a Donkey Race! Were you there to witness it?
NA Week 2
Day 1: GM Says
For the first day, GMs hosted a GM Says on the west side of O'draxxia castle. Do you have any memories of this day Adventurer? Were you able to beat the likes of [GM] Rinku and [CM] Delphe?
Adventurer’s thoughts:
A: “MY HEART RATE”
B: “I like the ideas that you guys have been coming up with”
Day 2: GM Hunt

Day 3: Hide & Seek From the GM

Day 4: The Most Dangerous Game
And for the last day of this week, GMs hosted an event where the players were brought to an island and had to survive against the clock (and the GMs' Matchlocks)! Were you able to use your survival skills to blend in with the environment? Or was your plan foiled by the likes of the GMs?
Adventurer’s thoughts:
A: “I laughed so hard”
B: “zaro and polly ran right by me”
