If it haven't been said. it should add a nice boost in performance for us using 4k Monitors. also HDR because why not
This is not just PA's decision. DLSS requires commitment from Nvidia too, and I don't think they're interested in a 5 year old niche game.
It is not an easy fix indeed. But well if PA is really looking to make this game last this could be a good stepping stone. But looking at the performance their Support has I doubt they'll get far.
DLSS require a supercomputing IA training from nvidia and code optimisation. Reason why each game release with DLSS require a Day one driver update for DLSS.
It's not an open source feature.
There is only that of AMD which will be implemented. As the PS5 and Xbox version will benefit from their more flexible technology.
As long as the techno is not openly available to the developer. there is no point in asking. its still a technology that less than 0.01% of games like ray-tracing(full) have.

This section is called suggestion for a reason. So yes there is a point asking. And as for not open all they have to do is ask. That would allows them to work with Nvidia. It will probably cost then but judging by the amount of fools that pay thousands to play this game it'll be crumbs for PA. Again that is if they really care about the game and want to make it better.
The game doesn't run properly even with high end hardware on wqhd, Ryzen 9 5900x and RTX 3080.
Yeah, sure you can grind with remastered, but seriously can't do PvP without setting texture and graphics to medium / medium. Even then fps won't be stable 144.
We need support for the newer technology to squeeze every frames out from our hardware we paid for. Now that AMD users get fidelity support, I think Nvidia users deserve DLSS as well!
+ vote for DLSS.
The problem of bad performance should not be adressed with the addition of DLSS (or FSR which they add now).
The root cause is the bad optimization of the game engine itself. They should have overhauled it years ago when they introduced "remastered" but since it is quiet an effort, they now just add FSR and call it a day.
