For many years now, I've been crafting and refining all sorts of outfits,
watching them travel alongside you on your journeys.

Some of them still come to mind, even after all this time.


Outfits that were deeply loved,
that live on as a special memory for someone,
and that remain just as charming today.


And that got me thinking.

What if I remade them, keeping all the charm and memories intact,
but adding a modern touch?


Preserving its beauty,
reworking the parts that fell a little short,
and weaving in new materials and details.


So one by one, I plan to take those outfits
from our memories and reshape them into something new.


And each outfit reborn as such
will be unveiled right here, at my atelier.

Do you remember this outfit,
Checkmate?

It was loved by so many of you,
but I always regretted that I couldn't offer it to every Adventurer.

So I kept everything that made Checkmate special,

and reworked the silhouette and details piece by piece,
so that far more of you can wear it in a way that suits you.

And with that,
the new Checkmate was complete.

The very first outfit to be unveiled

Merv's Atelier opens for the first time today, 
adding a new chapter to an outfit that lived in your memories.
