New Additions and Improvements

Class Changes

Warrior
We've improved Warrior's reliability when engaging by strengthening the Defensive Effects on dash skills. However, we've adjusted Stamina recovery for certain skills, so you'll need to pay a bit more attention to Stamina management.
Additionally, for Awakening Warrior, we've moved some buffs to skills where they fit better.
Main Weapon, Succession
Charging Thrust
  • Changed the skill so Stamina does not recover during the movement phase of the skill.
 
Frenzied Dash
  • Changed Defensive Effects from Forward Guard to Forward Guard plus Resistance against all CC from the rear.
  • Changed the character to no longer rotate based on camera direction during the attack motion.
 
Counter (I to Absolute)
  • Changed Floating on Counter and Energy Counter hits to apply to PvE only.
  • Changed Knockdown on Spin Counter hits to apply to PvE only.
 
Spinning Slash (I to Absolute)
  • Removed Critical Hit Rate +100% for 1 sec when using the skill.
 
 
Awakening
Flow: Overwhelm
  • Added Forward Guard during the skill.

Awakening Musa is a class that can sweep across the battlefield thanks to its excellent mobility. However, we've made adjustments so Stamina management requires more careful planning.

  • Changed the skill so Stamina does not recover during the skill.
    • Stamina now recovers during the attack motion after moving, same as Prime: Flame Rush.
 
Crosscut
  • Changed the skill so Stamina does not recover during the skill.
Maehwa
For Awakening Maehwa, we've expanded the skill combo options that use Moonrise. Since these combos rely on Floating, we've adjusted skill damage during the portion where Air Attack applies to make them more practical to use.

  • Added All AP +20 for 10 sec when using the skill.
    • This effect is identical to the All AP increase from Flow: Frostflower.
 
Flow: Cloud Stab
  • Sped up the skill animation.
  • Added Forward Guard during the skill.

  • Adjusted PvP damage ratio as follows.
    • Consequently, the PvP damage ratio for Black Spirit: Flow: Cloud Stab has also been adjusted.

Scholar
Some portions of certain Scholar skills will also have their "Invincible" effect changed to "Super Armor". As a result, it will no longer be possible to "drag out" invincibility during airborne actions and similar moves.

Flow: Golden Thunder
  • Changed so Super Armor applies from the airborne motion onward, excluding the Invincible effect applied while concealed at the start of the skill.
 
Flow: Gold Continuum
  • Changed the Invincible effect during airborne motion to Super Armor.
 
Flow: Gravity Storm
  • Changed the Invincible effect during airborne motion to Super Armor.
 
Reversal
  • Decreased the Invincible duration by approx. 0.3 sec.
Deadeye
Deadeye fights by using Lil' Devil to pressure enemies at long range and over a wide area, while using Revolvers to focus fire on a single target. However, from the opponent's perspective, there was still too much danger even after pushing through this and closing the distance, so we've made adjustments. The CC effects that applied on both the first and last hits of certain mobile skills will now apply to PvE only. In return, the damage of some stationary skills has been increased.

The Endtime's energy has seeped into the creatures that lived in packs across Edania. Touched by this force, they have become Hunting Monsters that can be defeated using a matchlock.
If you make good use of Edania's energy that appears during these encounters, you'll be able to hunt more smoothly. As loot, you can obtain furniture that decorates your residence and grants stats, as well as valuable special items. We'll continue improving Hunting so it remains a meaningful option for your playstyle and progression.
  • New Hunting zones have been established in the Hakinza Sanctuary, Nymphamaré, Orbita, and Zephyros regions of Outer Edania.

Schedule Change for Certain Content Updates

During the Calpheon Ball, we announced that several PvP-related updates (Node/Conquest War, War of the Roses, and Arena of Solare) were planned for February 2026. Blessing of Mystic Beasts - Life Skill Mastery

We previously considered adding a Hunting Mastery buff through the Coral Stoneback Crab furniture obtained via Hunting in the Edania region. However, we had a few concerns.
A "Blessing of Mystic Beasts - Hunting Mastery" effect would mainly benefit Adventurers focused on Hunting. If it were only obtainable in Edania, it could also reduce the appeal of existing Hunting zones. We also felt that adding separate Blessings for each Life Skill could create unnecessary complexity and inconvenience.
Instead, we've simplified the system by folding these effects into "Blessing of Mystic Beasts - Life Skill Mastery" rather than creating a Hunting-only version. We've also designed it so the required materials can be gathered and crafted regardless of which region you hunt in.
We hope this naturally connects Hunting with other Life Skill content and adds a unique, engaging element to the Hunting experience.

Sycraia Underwater Ruins Revamp

Sycraia Underwater Ruins has long been a favorite monster zone for Adventurers, built around deep-sea Ancient Weapons. With this update, we've preserved the ruins' original charm and combat style while making mid-hunt rewards more exciting.
A key feature of the revamp is a new mechanic where Sycraia's Memory can appear during combat. It triggers when certain conditions are met, and the rewards improve as you progress.
We've also added Refined Origin of Hunger and Refined Essence of Devouring to the top-tier zone exclusive drops, along with new items such as Sycraia Crystal and Sycraia Shard, further improving the rewards available in zones with the #HighestTier tag.
To maintain the rarity of signature loot, we've decreased the drop rates of Crimson Primordial Luster - Sovereign, Violet Primordial Luster - Sovereign, and Violet Primordial Luster - Edana in these zones.
  • In the depths of the sea, a powerful will containing the radiant memories of Sycraia has manifested in the Sycraia Lower Zone.
    • Renamed Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Abyssal) to Sycraia Ruins Lower Zone.

Damaged Ancient Weapons still linger in the underwater ruins, driven only by a fading will to protect them. Meanwhile, the Ancient Weapon summoned by the ancient call now swims the ruins with its seal broken. Each time a damaged weapon is destroyed, the unsealed summoned weapon will take notice of the intruder.
  • Ancient Weapons sealed within the Sycraia Ruins Upper Zone have awakened to reclaim the upper ruins.
    • Adjusted the difficulty and loot of the Sycraia Ruins Upper Zone.

  • Enabled Item Drop Rate effects in the Sycraia Ruins Upper Zone.
  • Increased the Rich Merchant's Ring Piece drop rate by approx. 1.33x when using Allan Serbin's Landscape to match the zone's difficulty.
  • Updated the contents of Great Marni's Supply Box, an exchange reward from Marni's Stone obtainable via Marni's Research Box due to increased difficulty.
    • You can now obtain the following with a set probability:
      • Deboreka Ring, Deboreka Necklace, Deboreka Belt, and Deboreka Earring (up to DUO (II))
    • Great Marni's Stones obtained before the remake will still provide the old reward box.
  • Deleted the weekly quest "Seal of Sycraia Underwater Ruins" (previously required Ancient Creature's Scales).
    • Accordingly, Ancient Creature's Scales held on the live servers were exchanged for Silver of equivalent value during the Feb 26, 2026 (Thu) maintenance.
    • For the "Form of an Ancient Creature", Silver was distributed for items with remaining duration during the Feb 26, 2026 (Thu) maintenance. Expired items were deleted without Silver compensation.
  • Removed 3 daily quests previously available in the Sycraia Ruins, and added the following weekly quests to each zone. If you had a completed quest that was deleted, the quest rewards have been sent to your Heidel Storage.

Improved Accessibility to Sycraia Ruins

With the Sycraia Ruins revamp, we expect many Adventurers to visit the zone. In the past, even when many Adventurers came to Sycraia Ruins for items like the Tungrad Ring, getting there was still somewhat inconvenient.
To improve this, we've added a quest that lets you travel directly to Sycraia Ruins Upper Zone via NPCs in Velia and on Iliya Island, making the trip much more convenient.
  • Added new quests to move to the Sycraia Upper Zone by handing over a Fragment of the Deep Sea to the following NPCs.
    • You must own the "Sycraia Upper Zone" knowledge to accept these quests.

  • Added visual effects to unacquired geographic knowledge in the O'dyllita, Atoraxxion, and Land of the Morning Light regions.

Expansion of Life Supply Markets

Previously, merchant NPCs selling fruits, mushrooms, and herbs were limited to Calpheon, the largest city, or a few towns depending on local specialties. However, after seeing steady demand from Adventurers who travel between cities, the merchant guild has dispatched these Life Skill material merchants to each of Black Desert's major cities.
