New Additions & Improvements
Today's patch brings balance changes for several classes in PvP. Following the recent damage calculation formula overhaul, we've been gathering and analyzing data, and this update reflects those findings.
We've strengthened classes whose core skills were underperforming, while reigning in skills that dealt excessive damage—especially long-range ones. In addition to adjusting damage, we've also improved combos and overall handling for classes that felt cumbersome in PvP.
Separately, we'd like to note that we are carefully reviewing burst skills with Floating and Air Attacks, which can inflict massive damage in an instant.
Sorceress
Succession Sorceress received adjustments to bring her PvP performance more in line with her intended playstyle, especially for skills whose damage felt too low.
Prime: Dark Flame's PvP damage has been increased so it can serve as one of the main skills alongside Prime: Black Wave. And since she doesn't have Forward Guard when moving backward, we've boosted the PvP damage of her ranged skills to help her better pressure enemies from afar.

Berserker
Awakening Berserker now has Super Armor on Ground Lifting to improve combo stability, and the Floating effect in PvP will only apply if you've learned Core: Ground Lifting.
However, if you haven't learned Core: Ground Lifting, comboing into the next CC after switching to Awakening with the Frenzied Destroyer → Ground Lifting combo from the main weapon grapple skill becomes very difficult.
To resolve this, a successful grapple with the main weapon now lets you transition straight into Awakening with Ground Lifting.

Valkyrie
 
For Succession Valkyrie, we focused on improving the usability of [Prime: Shining Dash]. Now, in small-scale fights, opponents will have to be more cautious about exposing openings. [Prime: Shining Dash] can now be activated independently, without needing [Shield Chase], making it harder for opponents to predict your moves. When used up close, it will stop the dash and instantly apply Stiffness and Knockdown effects. This allows Valkyrie players to swiftly seize openings and combo their skills more effectively.

    • Skyward Strike will now only activate with SPACE in all situations.

Prime: Shining Dash
  • Increased the hit detection area for Stiffness before attacks.
    • If an enemy enters the Stiffness area while dashing, your character will stop immediately and apply Stiffness.
    • Decreased the distance traveled after colliding with an enemy, allowing Knockdown to follow Stiffness more smoothly.
  • Improved to combo smoother into Glaring Slash, Sword of Judgment, and Severing Light.
  • Increased your character’s rotation speed during the dash, based on camera direction.
  • Increased the maximum dash distance.
  • Changed the cooldown: 14 sec → 8 sec
    • Changed the Skill Add-on tier to 2.
 
Dark Knight
Awakening Dark Knight is shifting to utilize Knockdown more often in PvP combos, rather than Floating. Previously, most Awakening skills applied Floating, which limited the amount of PvP damage you could chain in a single combo. By switching to Knockdown, you’ll be able to extend your combos and increase your damage output in PvP.

Lahn
With Awakening Lahn, improvements have been made so you won't have to rely solely on Soul Raid to pressure your enemies. You'll now have additional ways to strike at their weak points. If you succeed in exploiting an opening, the CC effects have been adjusted so you can follow up with even more attacks.

Similar to the previous update improving Eradication, using Bloody Stride into Deadly Dance now retains some movement speed, while also giving you extra chances to attack enemies who've been knocked down.


After Primrose Sprint, you can now combo into an airborne smash attack, making it easier for Lahn to dodge incoming blows and exploit enemy's openings. In addition, Flailing Blades, which previously had limited use outside of its buff effect, has been enhanced by getting part of Furious Chase's CC effect transferred to it, allowing you to threaten openings without having to close the distance.

Zephyros Castle

  • Improved the starting speed of the bonus mechanics by 60%.
  • Improved the progression speed of the bonus mechanics by 20%.
    • The number of monsters during bonus mechanics stays unchanged.  
  • Increased the search range for Caphras' Energy by Zephyros Shadow Knight.  
  • Improved Zephyros Shadow Knight to return precisely to its original position when no hostile targets are present.
 

Tenebraum Castle

  • Changed the spawn method so instead of all general monster packs appearing at once, they now instantly emerge at their designated spawn times.
  • Changed the central altar to summon four surrounding slates.
    • Changed the slates to be summoned about 10 seconds after entering Marni's Realm, instead of being present from the start.
  • Improved Cartian's Altar (slate form) protection protocol so if you quickly defeat the final wave of monsters, the protection protocol ends immediately.
  • Changed Cartian's Altar (slate form) to reset the Monster Zone if all Remnants of the Seer are not defeated within 5 minutes of the protection protocol starting.
  • Changed Cartian's Altar (slate form) to reset the Monster Zone if you move too far away after the protection protocol begins.
  • Doubled the range of mechanic-related messages from Cartian's Altar (slate form).
  • Changed Tenebraum Castle monsters to now pursue Adventurers over greater distances.
  • Reduced the stun radius for nearby monsters when defeating [Ancient] Remnants of the Seer.
  • Improved to show the Manticore's attack area before it jumps down from the altar to attack.
  • Improved the icon for the Manticore's Cleansed Aura buff, which can be obtained when the Manticore's mind control weakens.

Edania Sub-quests

  • Added a new questline investigating the cause of nature’s withering around Zephyros Castle.
  • Added a hidden story about the Doors of Alyaelli (Paradise’s Door), unveiling the intertwined past of Qabal Bahram and his companion Ayawaka from Hakinza Sanctuary.
 

 
  • Made the following improvements for Edana's Legacy.
    • Improved entry and exit sequences to feel more natural.
    • Added objective guidance text during quest progression.
    • Changed monster spawn locations in quests that require defeating them.
    • Added end-of-quest camera sequences to quests that previously lacked them.
    • Changed so you cannot control your character during cinematic sequences for a smoother experience.

  • Improved block history in Guild Guestbook so the Family name of adventurers who have left is no longer displayed.

  • Changed navigation to Edania so it can now be set from general inland areas like Velia (excluding LoML) without a compass.
