First off, we would like to apologize again to our Adventurers who experienced sporadic game client shutdowns after pre-registering for account transfer. This issue was resolved after the client update on January 28th.
Additionally, we've received reports from certain Adventurers where their active buff UI icons disappeared after pre-registering for account transfer. After investigating, we've confirmed that this is only a display bug. This issue is related to the pre-registration completion +1 AP/DP buff UI icon not being visible after the client update. As such, please rest assured that your actual buff effects are still being applied properly.
As compensation, 1-day extensions for the Value Pack, Blessing of Kamasylve, and Secret Book of Old Moon will be applied to the characters of Adventurers who experienced unexpected client shutdowns after pre-registering for account transfers.
Details of the compensation can be found below.
When are we sending the compensation?
- During the scheduled maintenance on Feb 3rd (Wed).
Compensation Eligibility (Must Fulfill Both Conditions)
- Completed pre-registration for account transfer between the launch on Jan 27th, 2021 (Wed) to the client update on Jan 28th, 2021 (Thu)
- Do not have any login records between the launch of pre-registration for account transfer on Jan 27th, 2021 (Wed) to the client update on Jan 28th, 2021 (Thu)
- Value Pack (1 Day)
- Blessing of Kamasylve (1 Day)
- Secret Book of Old Moon (1 Day)
* After the scheduled maintenance on Feb 3rd (Wed), Adventurers who already had these buffs active will receive a 1-day extension on their active buffs, and Adventurers who did not have the buffs will have these buffs automatically applied to their accounts.
* If you have characters on both NA and EU servers, the buff extensions will also be applied to both servers.
In addition, the issues regarding the +1 AP/DP buff UI icon not being visible after the client update (Jan 28th) and inability to receive the pre-registration Special Login Rewards will be fixed during the scheduled maintenance on Feb 3rd. Please note that after the scheduled maintenance on Feb 3rd, you will be able to properly see the buff UI and receive the Special Login Rewards via in-game mail according to the number of days you login.

On Wednesday, January 27th, Pearl Abyss opened pre-registration for account transfers in order to service Black Desert Online directly.
During this process, certain Adventurers who completed pre-registration experienced an issue where their client would sporadically close unexpectedly.
Thus, we updated the game client in resolve this issue.

However, the process of resolving and fixing this issue resulted in the following accompanying issues that are listed below.
■ AP +1 / DP +1 Buff is Not Displayed
Completing pre-registration for the account transfer will grant Adventurers an AP+1/DP+1 buff upon logging into the game.
Unfortunately, there is an issue where the buff UI is no longer visible for Adventurers who experienced the issue mentioned above after updating their clients.
Nevertheless, we hope you’ll understand that the actual buff effect is still being applied properly, and we can confirm that only the buff UI at the top of the screen and AP/DP in the equipment screen are not being displayed
■ Unable to Receive Pre-Registration Special Login Rewards
Adventurers who complete pre-registration for the account transfer can receive a variety of special login rewards including Cron Stone x500 and more.
Unfortunately, there is an issue where Adventurers who experienced the issue mentioned above regarding the client sporadically closing are unable to receive the special login rewards after updating.
Thus, we will be sending the special login rewards to the in-game mail of Adventurers unable to receive them during a future maintenance based on the number of days they login.
If you are an Adventurer who did not experience the issue with the game client sporadically closing after completing pre-registration, please rest assured you will be able to properly see the buff UI and receive the special login rewards after updating the client.
