We need to chat about this drop.

I've hit the Narcion mobs from Artisan 1 to Master 11 and not dropped a single Breath of Narcion. This isn't the only experience of the drop I've heard about.

The only two I've ever gotten were from the lifeskill questline.

you want like everyone else 100 drops per hour ?!

it would become useless..

i get 4per hour, sometimes, 8, 1 time i got 12, but then 2 hours nothing.. i think its fine like this, little compensation for low meat price

Common misconsception among hunters, the drop rate is based on gathering item drop rate, not hunting mastery, the drop amount on the other hand is based on mastery.  Yes it is bugged, yes it's been reported, no PA hasn't done anything about it since artifacts were added and the hunting community has tested it.  

Long story bump up your gathering drop rate and the breath rate will go up.  Buff your hunting mastery above 900 or above 1600 to get 3 and 4 every time they drop respectively.
