Hi all,
every single patch I get this error message.
Sometimes I can flush my dns and it works again. Sometimes I put a fix dns is my settings, sometimes I put it back to automatically.
Sometimes I can restart my router.
But for few days now. I cannot patch anymore...and the above mentioned things don't work anymore.
My internet is stable, no problems with other games, no connection lost, no high ping..
I also already reinstalled everything.
Why is there an error EVERY SINGLE PATCH? (sorry kinda mad, I play this game for a long long long time now)
I hope someone can help me.

If this does not resolve your issue, please submit a ticket to Black Desert Support and attach the file update.log to the ticket.

I dont know if this will fix your issue but its worth a try, i was having similar issues like lag and pinging in game, but since i did this method for fixing something else it actually improved my gameplay by a lot.
Go here...
- The contents of your “ads folder”, which is located in your Black Desert installation folder.
Delete all but your desired language and see if this helps. My game kind of loads faster and plays smoother because of it.
I dont know IF it will fix it, but im curious to know if you do this if it will or not, but let me know pls either way, cause im testing something.
Cheers,
Hello, without more information it's a bit difficult to pin point what may causing the error.
1. Make sure you're not using any third party antivirus or firewall application unless you're an advanced user with a very specific need. Windows defender is more than good enough. In any event, make sure that BDO isn't getting flagged by any application.
2. Make sure you aren't using a proxy such as a VPN. This can potentially cause issues, coversely, some people have had better luck using a VPN although you should still find the root cause of the probelm.
You can check event viewer and see if anything there comes up after the patch error occurs. It's most likely something on your end causing the issue and narrowing it down is the hard part. Sometimes drives just die like samsung nvme is a big deal right now, files getting corrupted etc... and it could even be that. It's hard to tell but I hope that whatever I could suggest helps, if not, you can elaborate more on your setup and see if someone can come up with more ideas on how to debug your situation.
OK, so I had an exception in my antivirus....but only for the client.
I put the exception for the whole pearlabyss-folder...now i can patch...
Thanks =)
