You can bypass the enhancement system entirely if you don't want to enhance.  This is what I have done since the beginning of 2020 when I was at full TET everything with a few TRI accessories.  After enahncing for full TET armor and weapons myself, which was a PAIN in the butt, mind you (no pain, no gain), I ran into the conundrum of "how do I get full PEN armor and weapons??"  I knew I didn't want to enhance for it on ~5% chances.  95% chance to fail.  Complete hell for me, and I woulda quit the game if I had to enahnce them.  Luckily for all of us, PA reworked the market into what we have today and it helped me achieve my gear goals.

All my PEN items are purchases.  Earned myself one PEN every month and a half or so.  Steadily bought PENs, sold weaker accessories to buy stronger ones, and currently sitting at 304/306/359 Nouver - 291/293/371 Kutum.  Next goal is to make 25 billion, sell both my Tungrad Rings, and buy me a PEN Crescent.  Work towards the 100% chance event PEN Crescent for 297 AAP Kutum on Sorc, and with the free PEN Capotia, for 309 AP for my Succession Ranger, who I plan on tagging later.

In BDO, there are more than one way to achieve your goal.  Question is, are you willing to do it?

PS -INB4 "waaah I don't wanna grind in circles for a month just to buy one upgrade waaah".  <- If you don't have that mentality, the sky is the limit for you.  Only limiter is yourself, least that's what I tell myself.  Best wishes on your Adventure.

EDIT:  oooh I did enhance ONE PEN ever in my 4 years of playing lol.  My Kutum, which is a Seasonal converted item (can't sell it), went PEN at 221 FS a couple months ago.  Lol.  One self-enahcned PEN in 4 years, over 30 taps with and without Cron (not much taps, but to me it is lol) x'D yup.  That's RNG for 'ya.  Which is why I rather earn and buy my upgrades from now on.  But there are times I will not mind enhancing if I absolutely have to, or if I'm willing to risk it.  I would do both, but prefer to buy, if it is reasonable to do so.  Also, I have a mini-enhancing workshop, I do like enhancing, it's fun when it's for profit.  For gear you'll wear, not so much from experience lol.  But you can bypass it completely, it'll take more work, but remember = buying is a 100% success rate ;)

notice how in ur calculations of money before you go on your triad that basically says i don't want to put in any effort literally does not include any form of grinding. actually, it doesn't include literally any form of actually playing the game. this entire post literally just says "i don't play the game and any form of playing the game is bad and i shouldn't have to in order to get upgrades"

i mean i think it's clear to everyone reading that tl;dr of this is you think enhancing is hard because you don't put any actual effort into the game. newsflash: even if the enhancement in this game gets better, you're going nowhere because you aren't doing anything and deserve nothing. with even just a minimal amount of effort people can get pen gear easily. i've gotten to 650 gear score early last year simply through bartering very afk.
