I don't want to pvp, and I'm sure  I am not alone in this.  Why can't we have PVE servers with instanced grind zones for those that don't want the toxic nature of open world pvp when all we want to do is grind in peace?

Seasons are going to get this type of feature some time later. I don't remember when exactly, if it was even announced. I only know so far, that it's announced and it's going to be tested I assume.

Telling someone to go play another game is not a meaningful or intelligent response, come on man, you are better than this.  There is an Arsha server for those that like PVP, logic suggests the opposite should also be true(as my post is confirming to you), that there are those of us who don't like PVP and would enjoy a PVE server with instanced grind zones.  Why have one and not the other?  As for the why devote resources to it, obviously because there are those who want that type of content, try not to be so myopic when it comes to thought just because it's not something you would enjoy.

Your type of response is  a dead business curve. You come up with a solution or figure out how to satisfy both sides of the issue that provide satisfactory experience to your clients.. hence one party that like instense pvp and risking dying  to mobs or one enjoy the bliss of solo grinding or with party of friends or buddies. That is how in real life you find business that thrives because they find ways to deal with and cater to different style and taste of customers. And this is just TWO : PVP or Non-PvP.  You do not chop off the fingers that feeds you and still  keep your business alive. 

They said no instanced content (on last ball).

Tho they said, they are palning on private servers or whatnot, probably some cash shop based grind zone renting system.

Black Desert : SSF mode. Why not, total disconnected from the Global server channel and cannot be transfer/interact in any matter to the official server.
Allocate real server resource for your kind of fake mmorpg player,  Literal parasite squatter that don't like the genre at all is definitely not a good business practice.
It's like forcing the NFL to make the football a solo, non-contact sport because there are anti-social human hater people out there who want * to play it? *

At some point, you must realize that you are distorting a complete genre.

Soon you are going to be on CS: GO and you are going to ask that you push to compete with people with tab-target gameplay because you hate shooters.
and complain that CS: GO has no quests and an interesting story and deep lore. (´･_･`)

You don't like the game, stop lying to yourself. devs don't have to bend to your whims of anti social anti mmorpg player.

A mmorpg is made to play with and against others. like any real multiplayer cooperative game.


it made no sense. You're playing a mmo and your only goal is to literally avoid people. Complete cognitive dissonance.

Pros with instanced PvE servers:

1) Players who don't want PvP can play BDO in total isolation and peace.

Cons with instanced PvE server:

1) Removes players from the "main" PvX channels, thus, minimizing the population in them.

2) Less player interaction, overall, since Open World PvP encounters is one of the main ways players interact with others.

3) Resources-farmed inherently assume a level of "risk and reward", the risk being possible PvP encounters, the reward being the resources, IE: trash loot and rare drops.  A dedicated PvE server eliminates said risk, and only the reward remains.  This is a disproportion in farmed resrouces between main PvX channels and a side PvE-only channel.

4) Reduces the "meaning" behind gearing up.  One reason we gear up is to be better suited for PvP encounters.  If you remove PvP, you effectively, and objectively, remove that reason for players who play exclusively on PvE-only.

5) OPINION -> Makes the game more "boring".  The way I see it, people who ONLY play PvE are more likely to get burned out faster, bored, and quit the game.  PvP offers players a reason to keep playing and get stronger, but without PvP, it's just less reason to keep playing BDO.
