Hey I'd like that. I find people using esc-esc during combat very frustrating. Any way to make it used more for getting unstuck from terrain, and not for a second V from a bad combat, would certainly be nice!

I agree, it would be so nice I'd be willing to put a cape on it and call it super nice, but again, that's a different discussion. It's best to keep these suggestions focused and adressing one or two specifics rather than large wishlists.

2.) TAKE THE RNG OUT OF THE RBF TIMER, for the love of god. If that match ends in 20 minutes, then make it end in 20 minutes. Not 20~ish minutes. 10 seconds remaining on the clock should be exactly that, not 10 seconds and maybe up to two extra minutes.

This one is debatable, as I think the point of it is to prevent people from playing different during the last few seconds. Some will turtle or run away if they have points (with random timer you can't expect to turtle for 1-2 minutes, besides, even if you run away, the points might flip without your contribution), and other will save up V and do suicidal last second pushes to get some points and V when about to die (with seconds left on the timer). The randomized timer motivates you to continue playing normally until the end.

 

I'd also add another two points, specifically for RBF:

4) Put a distance check (counting from spawn exit) on the NPC buff so mobile classes can't abuse it in balanced RBFs. I understand the need for it when teams are grossly unbalanced and one is spawn camped (which is also a problem that could be solved, see next point), but some abuse it even in balanced matches, just repeatedly diving into enemies, and it is very annoying to deal with. There are some specific players that frequent EU RBF, almost always ninjas and musas that only ever do that. A distance check where the buff instantly expires at a distance of, say 30 meters from spawn would solve this.

 

5) Make the team assignment for newly joining players more aggressively based on the amount of players in each team. Additionally add a modifier that takes into account the points balance (but not too heavily). Also lower the 10 minute join restriction to 5min, but scale the rewards with time spent in a given match. E.g. if you join with 5 minutes left and win, you only get two seals and 2 mil silver (also increase the rewards in general while at it).  This would help in preventing heavily unbalanced teams from forming and being unfixable if they're still unbalanced past the 10min mark.
