If you don't have gear to do it, yes no one will take you ( unless you shai). And yes you right, for 99.99% of BDO "players" is extremly hard to join discord, post gear, and (oh my god) use voice chat to communicate with others. As for rest, linear dungeons with zero variety, they just like any other MMORPG dungeon, do X action at X time, dont' fckd up, wipe, repeat.
If something cannot be easily completed in a group of random players without voice communication, such a dungeon does not make sense and should never appear in the game. Period.
And what is now can be called "dungeon fascism".

So you basically want no challenge freebies, no wonder you cannot join one and have private account. You can do that on Season channel, exactly what you want, no brain, no mechanics, just press random buttons, no gear needed, equal reward as for normal mode, normal mode not much harder than season. If you cannot join season/normal, well, sadge i guess.

So Calpheon Ball 2021 is over and what a clusterfuck it was. I'm always trying to see things on their positive side but this time it's really really difficult.
This was a QoL/Transition year for the game, we all now that. Content faded a little to the corner while they focused on trying to polish what was already there, from systems to the reworked classes, we got told promised content last Heidel Ball was getting pushed back so the reworks could be worked on with more depth.
Most of us accepted that.
So here we are: Calpheon Ball 2021 is on, reworks are done, season is announced. Time to look into the future. And the future looks like this:
1- Snow region: Coming to Kr December 29th. Us (second rate regions we are) gotta wait until the first half of 2022. Because fuck us,i guess.
2-New items/equipment: Comes with the new region, so again, middle finger to all of us for the next 6 months.
3-No new class: Not even a little video teaser like hash, or a symbol, nothing. Just some obscured screenshot. (We are back to 2 female 1 male releases too,lol)
4-Sherrif system: Nothing.
5-Server wars: Nothing
6-Guild Main Server: Nothing.
7-Calpheon elvia: Working on it, no date, it will come at a later date.
8-Blackstar raid: Nothing, it will come after the eventual release of Calpheon elvia.
9-Arena of Solare: No date, they are working on it (since March apparently).
10- New 10vs10: No date,working on it.
11-Terror of the Sea: Delayed, they want to finish calpheon elvia and raid before.
12-New RBF maps: No date.
13- T10 Dine: No date, working on it still.
14-Mini PvE private server: Nothing.
15-Trading Rework: Nothing, it was promised to come this year but it did not even have a mention.
16- Likeskill upgrade: Money is for grinders,you plebs. Likeskill will focus on other things. No date.
17-3th and 4th Atoraxion wings: Nothing, no mention.
18-T5 pets: No date, thinking about it, work did not even start.
19-Reworked main quests (shown as the valencia tutorial last time): Nothing, no mention.
20- Thornwood PvPvE mode: Nothing.
So, to keep it short: ¿Where is the content? ¿What are you actually delivering to us in the next 3-4 months? Nothing at all.
We have been waiting a whole year for content and in the end they just told us to wait another 6 months for any meaningful content (region+ equipment) and that's it. That's supposed to carry us forward, while competitors are releasing expansions, new games or region ports left and right we just get Korea scraps after they are done with it, but at least we get 2 j's hammers :shrug
I had low expectations but you really gave us NOTHING.
TLDR: Calpheon Ball 2021= Wait 6 months for some content, you all are a second rate region. We are working on it, we don't know, maybe after we are done working on X, NO, See you in the Calpheon Ball Part2.
You seen what I started seeing 45 minutes into the ball. After I got chat banned for saying,"This Calpheon ball sucks balls!" I logged off Twitch got in the bed and went to sleep. Glad everyone else felt the same way I did about this ball.
Hopefully, with the next ball in March the developers can be very " TRANSPARENT" with what they have planned showing us future content that will 100% make it to the game.
With the female to male ratio again, it's all about the big boobs, heels and virtual putang with these guys. That won't change with these developers and this game because that's all they know ( male and ugly classes are forbidden in Korean made MMORPG).

Some players do but .... NO ONE WILL TAKE YOU. On Atoraxxion discord you need show your gear (ss from game with visible nick name in game).
And this is the reason why 99.99% of BDO players don't care this dungeon: extreme hard, party, no rewards.
I didn't think the first one was that hard, but it did require coordination that most people didn't have.

Honestly I'm not sure what everyone was expecting lol.
We knew all content development had stopped for the class reworks.
We knew new class development had stopped for the class reworks.
Everyone complained that they hadn't delivered in every other ball.
So what would you prefer? More empty promises that they can't deliver? A brand new class after the reworks bad feedback?
They probably only did the Calpheon ball this time because it was expected. They said they fucked up the last times and over promised things. They said they will showcase content when it is ready now instead of going "hey here's an idea Jae had in the shower yesterday!"
Development takes time and is a lengthy progress and delicate schedule. That schedule has been completely fucked up because people wanted the class reworks earlier and I don't think PA realised how big that task was going to be. It's going to be a while before any content is ready. I'm still hyped for the new region and all the stuff coming with that, since it is a pretty big update. It sucks we don't get it at the same time as KR but I'm guessing that's because they're working on the story side and doing full voice acting for once. I'd rather it was done properly instead of rushed to meet deadlines and being underwhelming, like everything else they're brought out this year.
It's almost like people have high expectations but aren't patient enough to let them do their damn jobs.

That schedule has been completely fucked up because people wanted the class reworks earlier and I don't think PA realised how big that task was going to be. It's going to be a while before any content is ready. I'm still hyped for the new region and all the stuff coming with that, since it is a pretty big update. It sucks we don't get it at the same time as KR but I'm guessing that's because they're working on the story side and doing full voice acting for once. I'd rather it was done properly instead of rushed to meet deadlines and being underwhelming, like everything else they're brought out this year.

Others mmo can make new content and class balance at the same time
Others mmo did not divide their development team by 10 to make others ch*** games
Others mmo do not have as much white knight to find you excuses for 6 months on why we still have nothing and are not there to justify stupidly the lack of content for the next 6 months ..
99% of white knight message : "but class balance" "poor devs" "it's your fault! You stupid players!"....
and you know what? class balancing is incomplete, they lied to us again. several promises are missing as usual ... so dare to come and tell us that all the missing content is due to balancing it's just a bulshit ..

The class reworks are a massive failure, they basically not fixed any issue with it, so yeah, they literately did nothing for a half year.

From what I could get from the ball...
- Still no subtitles as translation... "Help, what are they saying? We don't speak Korean" "Well, too bad for you!" and when it was live-translated into english, it was a pain to follow.
- "We are working on content!" was uttered over and over. As if we didn't know, but well, that is not very elaborated upon. If it was just that to be said, I'd rather have done other things than watching it;
- The teasing was very limited, a few screenshots here and there... the one that tested the exclusive content reeked of amateurism, headless chicken running around-style. It was utterly cringeworthy. Technical bugs were the icing on the cake;
- People outside of South Korea will have to show patience until they get their turn concerning the expansion.
I'd joke on that S. Korean players beta test it, but yeah, it's not funny;
- No teaser about class reworks, even if it's due in nine days;
- The next class reveal was a silhouette. That is nice for rumors debunking, but well, nothing else... wait and see;
- The Q&A session was horrid, why have all of these people wait for that long only for them to finally be able to ask their (lame) questions with translators? Super unprepared.
After that, I basically bailed out. I am glad I only had little hype before the ball, otherwise I'd have been crushed.
I even regret the silly dice thrower of the first Calpheon ball, the one that made us go utterly annoyed until it was announced that we would get all items from that "live Black Spirit Adventure".
I'm just glad I watched the event via a streamer. I would have enjoyed it even less if I watched it "by myself".
P.S.: Even if I love alpacas, I don't think I'll want to create a Shai for that.
P.P.S.: I'd rather have ads for pearls on the website than crypto-mining rubbish. Both are unwelcome in my book, anyway. Check another MMO for info on backlash on the NFT feature, by the way...

I was naive and hopeful like you once. It was when I came back after saving my account from being deleted even though there's no law in the US that would force them to do so. It was PA's idea to just force people to come back or else watch your account get deleted. I was surprised to see there was almost no new costumes since 2017, just a few new classes and a tiny bit more land mass to traverse.
But I figured to just play a little bit and learn more, why not? Then they had their ball in summer and it seemed like they were going to redeem themselves. I gave them a chance to do so but of course, nothing has changed since I left. Do you know why I left? The servers were always down, almost all the features in the game were broken or buggy, and there was little to do in the game. To make matters worse, there was a serious class imballance.
It's almost 2022 and nothing has changed, nothing. They still break promisses, they're still making excuses to why there isn't any new content, and their attempts at making anything better is always making things worse. I don't know who is making all of these decisions but time after time they are bad ones. Eventually they will run out of people to milk. BDO is already synonymous with "awful MMO experience" in the industry. Yet, they have such a great foundation to create an amazing game out of it. Sadly, BDO is not by definition a game, nor is it really an MMO. We're just stuck here in limbo, waiting patiently to see if they'll ever release something tangible and exciting. Mind you there are a hundreds other games MMO or not that can be played right now with great joy. They have to compete for that attention, but with their dwindling numbers they are obvioulsy doing a bad job.
