As the game decline it will be more and more P2W, nothing new here, it's just the lifecycle of an game, where it's developer trys to squeeze the last few remaining cents it can offer.

We will going to get it aswell, as given the inflation PA caused those items are heavily undervalued. Like you can nearly make 2 outfits (worthing 60$) worth of silver in a hour grinding. The overwhelmingy mayority of the bdo players have less daily wage than what they could reach as hourly wage ingame. Obviously ppl not sell them on market, why would they?

I'm surprised they waited this long. For the first time in ages eariler today. I bare witness to Karanda despawning. Witnessing that, gave me a very grim outlook on this game.

Well they increased it like a half year ago on west last time so thats not that long.

But yeah, the fact that they are forced to sell outfits with 50% discount nowdays speak much...

Person who can't buy 10$ game and got it via twitch drop or "limited event" for sure gonna buy 60$ outfit bundle, 100% sure he will. But he must do it in first week/month before he find out game have content.

I'm kinda pissed they didn't increase the price ceiling for NA/EU like they did FOR EVERY OTHER REGION. I mean I get it, they don’t wanna piss off the majority of players; however, those same players aren’t their actively paying customers (whales) so they’re shooting themselves in the foot pretty hard here.

The price should even be higher. Like 2 billion. I want outfits to sit on the market place.

Price is irrelevant, as long it will be cheaper to melt outfits than buying the crons from bs, they won't be on market.

If they would remove that, then on the otherhand 80% of the outfits would sit on the market, as they are garbage. Outfits like kibelius and checkmate would still be on demand tho.

I miss the old way of buying pearl items on the central market. Place a notificaiton on items you want to buy and then go directly to the market. Be the first to bid and if there are others bidding you enter a pool of like 15 other players to win. It wasn't terribly hard to get pearl items this way, you just had to play the game.

Back then, you had to actually play the game to win and your workers had a purpose. Sure, griefing outside of the city bounds was almost guaranteed but at least they had a decently balanced game overall. The downside was that the servers were always going down, like you couldn't be logged in for more than 30 minutes without getting disconnected. This eventually was fixed but everybody had left after months of this.

I'm worried what will happen next with BDO. Will they milk everyone? I would hope not. It would make nobody interested in Crimson Desert if they do. Sure, they talked about how CD will be single player with multiplayer elements (i guess like dark souls?) but let's be honest here... That's what they wanted with BDO and they changed their mind at the last minute. CD was postponned, probably to be changed to MMORPG. But who's going to play that if PA treats us like we're just credit cards?

I sure hope the new CEO will make the right choices moving forward. The increase in pearl items makes sense on the central market but I hope it's not a bad omen of things to come.
