Hi,
With the most recent patch, Item Collection Increase scrolls no longer work at Basilisk Den, Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Upper) and Winter Tree Fossil. Agris Fever also no longer has an effect at these grind spots which you can notice by looking at your agris and realizing no agris is consumed when killing these monsters.
This however is not the case for the Item Collection Increase Gauge. As of now, there's no way for someone who doesn't read these patch notes (for example a newer player) to know that their scroll is doing nothing.
I can think of two good ways to tackle this issue:
- Turn off the gauge once you're in the area and show a notification, similar to when you enter towns
- Make the gauge glow red which shows an informative tooltip
Although it's not indicated within the scroll's tooltip either, I think doing that could easily be overlooked.
Thank you in advance.
Does the gauge keep counting down in those zones? If so, that's pretty screwed up. I would have expected it to shut off when entering those zones and then give you an error when you tried to turn it on there.

Yes, as of now it still keeps counting down and applies the 5-minute cooldown.
No, we don't need pointless popups that dumb ppl not gonna read anyway.
Also the whole concept of no loot scroll zone is dumb.
What would you suggest instead?
i feel best way is to auto shut off when entering these zone, just like how it is automatically turned off when entering into town which is what you stated. feel like everyone hates popups without option to turn off and PA has shown that they won't make a turn off popup option for some reason
