I'm still working on getting both my tier 9's but I'm curious: when you say next attempt in 1 week or 2 weeks, is there an item for the tier 10 that makes it take that long between attempts? Which item? (The weekly from stone tail for those leaves?)

Yep its exactly that! the Royal Fern Roots are from weekly/daily missions at Stonetail, so even though i have enough materials for multiple attempts i have to wait to get these.
