It's hard to play BDO on NA servers right now due to this lag.  WHen grinding mobs, I do a move and everything dies either 1/2 a second slower or a full second later.  So you do a move, wait a second, then everything dies while you wait to pick up loot.  It's pretty bad. 

Also when you swap characters, after switching to your new character, you cannot move or interact with a storage keeper, or do basically anything for 30 to 60 seconds as the game loads in.  You can walk around and such, but you cannot interact at all with any npcs.  This gets more and more irritating if you, like me, are using multiple alts to grind, fish, check farms, etc.

So what is causing this lag?  I've talked to others in chat to see if it wasn't just my connection or my computer.  The lag seems to be ubiquitous in that all players seem to be affected by it similarly.  Is the new waterpark event causing this lag?  Is it the constant battles between papu and otters?  Can we get a channel that doesn't have the event, for people who want to, ya know, play the actual game? 

Guess I'll be forced into just afk fishing until this event is over while I play other games or until this issue is resolved.

In EU there is not so much lag but I found that in quests that requires to find and pick up different critters like cats, pigs, or dogs, have an important delay (5-10 seconds) before the quest assign them as completed.

This " futures" already here for like 1 month ( for sure its 4+ weeks)

I've been seeing a lot of the quest completion delays.  And also wasting time killing things that are already dead.

I only get horrific lag at Garmoth. I really noticed nothing out of the norm with this boonie slow DSL.
