You probably know about this, but as I don't see topic ima try to sum this up in hope for fast fix.

Two 'versions' of desync I experienced, to put it lightly in about half of my 70 matches.

In one such scenario character uses 'dash-like' skill to quickly move around. Let's take Ninja or Sorc iframe will be good example for this.

When desync occurs I would get pulled back from inside iframe back to my original position when I begin to cast said iframe. The skill is not just on CD but I already traveled some distance. Both the effects of iframe and distance traveled are erased, you get stunned and back to where you were.

Another example, I am half way through casting a Super Armor ability on Zerk. Get's stunned. No it's not grab.

In second case character ability goes on cooldown and nothing even happens. Sometimes it looks like desync, but also this also seem to be related to enviroment. Say I am surrounded by wall on one side, there is trees nearby to, casting more than base complexity mobility skill will make my char just shrug while skill go on CD. In other cases this seem just a desync issue.

There are more enviromental issues possibly related to this, which I post in ticket to avoid exploits.

If I had to speculate on why is this happening. One player has better connection than other? One player has higher FPS than other? Therefore server registers their action before yours. So even tho on your screen you used protection just in time. On opponents screen they already stun you.

PS: You guys seem to either struggle with desync or largely underestimate it, as it can be seen occuring even on your tourney streams. Now I can understand, this is a very very complex game with large amount of hitboxes and positioning effects. There is absolute giga ton server has to deal with. Best of luck tackling this.

We all know about it, PA most likely also know about it, no one gonna fix it, at least publisher not gonna bother to do anything to fix it.

Realistically there is no way to fix it at this stage of game, game engine need to be reworked to move away from FPS based mechanics, aka  we need new engine. Calculation need to be moved to server side = increassing load on server multiple time = need much more better servers = spend more money on servers.

Marni servers very bad by themselfs, its like very weak hardware that good if there is 10 players, when you do last boss in dungeons you can see difference when you on marni 1/2 (lots of players) and when its only your party on that marni channel.

If PA really care about dealing with "desync" they could easy remove mouse movements and enforce Vsync or  at least cap FPS for like 120.
