Hello Witches,

The most recent Global Labs patch introduced a highly problematic change for Succession Witch.

Change: Magical Evasion movement lost Super Armor and instead we get Split Teleport. 

Succession witch is designed to work with Magical Evasion. Our passive allows us to pocket skills with ME. Our rabam skill (lightning) encourages use of ME. Our earthquake which cannot be canceled like wizard's  requires ME to cancel. Our lower base stats require ME for better trading positioning. Basically, a protected Magical Evasion is necessary for our kit to function properly.

This change also makes Witch and Wizard too similar. Witch and Wizard passives give them different playstyles, Wizard being a turret and Witch being a skirmisher. People who prefer split teleport can already go play wizard, so why are we forcing people who like the skirmisher playstyle to switch. This is ruining the class identity of witch and just making her a female wizard. This is undoing all of the progress that Witch had over the past couple years of developing its unique identity. We are put back to day 1 of succession launch when witch is a joke only played for PvE.

Please devs I beg that you do not see this change through, it would deeply sadden me to see my class lose what makes it special. Magical evasion is like Chase for Musa, Alert Stance for Ninja, the glue that holds the class together and defines its fighting style.

If you insist that Witch needs changes, I would suggest giving Magical Evasion a partial iframe or equalizing our base stats to wizards.

but then what would be the reason for succ wiz (the second best spec in the game and some PA employee's main no doubt) to get buffed?

succ witch HAS to get double tp as an excuse to give something to succ wiz

and succ witch HAS to be weaker than succ wiz, because that's how it is.

So either PA doesn't know what they are doing and shouldn't make this change or PA doesn't know what they are doing and should have done this 8 years ago.

Would much rather have Magical Evasion with Super Armor than having split Teleport. It's the main reason I play Witch instead of Wizard.

Other changes are good for PvE but they should revert the above one.

I'm amazed that you don't mention how they destroyed our range completely, making explosion and lighting both melee. That plus the magical evasion... is going to hit hard.

Thats because Fireball Explosion Focus got adjusted and not Areal also the lightning skill you use for pve got changed

What I meant is that they not only our identity with magical evasion, they turned us into a melee caster making some of our most used skills Point Blank area spells. Our only ranged capabilities now are meteor shower, lightning and fireball.

We needed magical evasion before to be able to combo with ease and cancel some skills , that was what made our class playable. Now to land our spells we have to be in almost melee range , being so squishy... I don't know who thought this was a good idea...

What are you talking about? The ranged PvP skill set is totally unaffected. They did not adjust Fireball Explosion (Areal), Blizzard (Storm), and Lightning Storm (High Voltage) which are the options in PvP. They buffed Focus, Domain, and Combo instead for PvE purposes.
