I think you're both right. Using an existing char sounds like a good option. 

So with a new class coming out, will the Chr slots be expanded this time?

You would think with the sheer amount of money PA makes from just costume sales in just NA alone that you could revamp your backend to accomedate a 100 char slots per family, and not break a sweat.  I mean you guys don't even pay to have a translator for your Balls you hold only twice a year.  It's time to loosen the strings on that money purse.  You'll make up any temporary loses with character slots sold in the coming years and have a much improved back-end to future proof the game.  I don't really understand the problem here. 

That's what I'm looking to find out. If not, I'm not playing the new class, as I don't have spare slots.

I understand that PA reviewed this suggestion, but please, PA, reconsider!

I was prepared for Woosa, not for Maegu!

I don't want to delete my characters, especially my characters with costumes. :( I have one duplicate class without a costume—my Sage from 2021's Autumn Season—and two duplicate classes with multiple costumes—my Sorceress from 2020's Summer Season and my Shai from 2021's Winter Season. :( I don't want to delete my Sage, but I can't delete my Sorceress and my Shai. :(

What about the next new character? And, the next..?

What about seasons—will they end or will we have to keep deleting and re-creating our characters to play?

When I have to delete my 2020 Sorceress and my 2021 Shai, can I have a refund for their costumes? (Note that it's a rhetorical question.)

So they say no new slots, people delete characters to make room for 2 new characters, then just "ha ha, we were kidding, here's another slot!"

Because there is a new class coming a little later.

What for? Family fame? Really? Just for that? So you can delete some, right?

Just because you're a new player or don't see why other people may have full slots.
Maybe you don't get it, but when you play or played a lot with a character, deleting it is not a possible choice because of the time/money you invested in it.

let me entertain you with my family story and why deleting anyone will hurt:
2nd Shai, for bartering (now used for khan/vell/fishing)
2nd Guardian, as second season character (with the purpose of sharing gear with first one in valencia spots)
2nd Corsair because i liked her and going from sea to grind is a pain, so this second was intended for land.
2nd Lahn, same as above
3rd Shai, lvl49 for horse training
3rd Guardian, last season because it's easy and with magnus sharing gear accross all map is easier
i'm only missing a ninja because i don't like it.

i don't see myself removing any of thoose 6 duplicates because they have each one a purpose and are used very often. Same for the unique characters. Apart from a few ones that are sleeping at bosses and that i use less but have skins, slots, lifeskills on them, etc, all are used quite often with a specific role.

Right now, i don't intend on making any more duplicates because i don't have the need for it, but i do need slots for the new incoming classes or i'll be left out.  Feels wrong paying for stuff to be "forced" to delete it if we want to try the new content.
