Not gonna lie, I hope they do find another solution. I'm from the West Coast internet in my ping is still just as bad as people from East Coast.. I will probably also be moving back to Hawaii at some point, which means my internet will be even worse. I definitely didn't come to BDO for PvE content; I only play to have some occasional fun in PvP. If my ping gets considerably worse than what it is now, I will probably just move on to another game. (Which is fine.) I don't think anyone will miss just a few players. If it helps a majority of the pvpers, then so be it. I do want ping to be more fair across the board, but I am just being real with people; NA internet standards suck and ping is already bad for almost everyone, even if they do reside in West Coast. I'm pretty sure that you'd have to have a very specific provider to have good ping regardless, which not everyone will be able/be willing to pay for.

Right now I'm already at 100 ping, not sure why people keep saying "West coast has best ping." I've been putting up with that for years in BDO, and most people from the East Coast that I ask, also say they have around 70-100 ping too. Don't get me wrong. I would definitely love having equal ping playing ground, but internet in NA is as optimized as in Korea. I highly doubt I will have the same ping after the move. (Especially when I might have to move back to Hawaii which is even farther)

-An idea might be: if we could so something where, all NA players could enter into either of 2 different NA servers. One for West, one for East? People would be able to just choose whatever they'd like at any time, like entering servers (Balenos, Valencia etc) I don't see a problem with doing that yet? Unless it can be abused in some way. I know this won't solve the problem of Node Warring, but I suppose I can give up Node Wars. I don't mind just doing occasional GvGs and BA duels personally. I couldn't care less about Node War as long as my ping is at least "mediocre." People who do still want to do Node Wars, they could just move to the Centralized Server perhaps, idk.

If anything though, BDO will be BDO. If some of us leave, I'm sure BDO will find other people to migrate into their game. We'll just have to wait and see. I'll probably not be buying any pearls and just be doing bare minimum FOMOS from now on until I have a guarantee on what's going to happen, and whether the game goes in a direction that I do/do not like. With all due respect of course, I do hope the game goes in a successful path with or without me here. I genuinely like the game and it's given me great memories.

Yep, if servers get moved i can pretty much gurantee , most of the oce part of the player base will leave an seeing reddits reaction towards OCE. The OCE part of BDO will just die out from the game being unplayable.

The issue is NA players dont want us to leave and have our own server because i assume they are worried the game will die for NA? Idk though alot of NA players just cry about bad latency when its a select few from OCE who actually have issues usually related to ISP routers or Aussies NBN  using hybrid fibre /coax on docsis(unreliable as all hell because of the modulation an demodulation process and device issues)

If the servers are being moved to central will OCE get their own servers now. This is a massive middle finger to OCE, bad enough as it is with 160ms + right now. Either reconsider or give OCE their own servers. Your just making desync 100x worse by doing this

doesnt SEA exist why arent you playing there?

Ask PA. Shouldn't OCE have their own server considering the fact it states EU/NA/OCE . So why doesnt it exist.

In addition to that, SEA servers got added after NAEU, and the service region for NAEU included OCE. It still does. So any OCE player on NAEU is correct with their chosen region.

As long as PA's own policies tell OCE players to use NAEU, no argument for SEA is valid, and their opinions about the server locations need to be considered.

Yup. But PA treat us like we dont exist by how the comment went with the moving of servers

Also requesting not to move servers.

Or if you are, please give OCE players a server hosted in Australia.
