I thought that class modifiers would be used to create a balance between classes and make a natural opposite for classes.

A wizard has no benefit vs any classes other than another wizard/witch, where classes like Bezerker get more damage vs all classes.

If it were to be balanced a wizard whould have damage vs other classes and some classes would naturally be better vs wizard like striker/mystic, but all classes are better.

tanky classes shouldn't do high damage

fast/mobile classes shouldn't be doing high damage

high damage classes shouldn't be tanky  

some classes ar fast, tanky and do high damage where wizards are left behind in all 3 areas.

why does my class have such stupid nerfs for damage vs all the classes that are already stronger than me via their kts or that i have to meet in my melee awakening skills?

and most of them classes also have way higherpcp class damage modifiers vs me.  and im the immobile class that has to soak damage and dont have unbreakable block AND am super target for grapples?  -.-'


why is this a thing? "flatten" the modifiers so that some dont get "auto wins" just because of class selection. how are some of these numbers even fair?

real cruelty is that all these classes already have HUGE kit advantage to kill us, and then modifiers on top to ensure the curbstomping.

Wizards have retardino and a grab now, wizard has a grab and has since 2016 been a monster.

I agree these modifiers are very weird and should be changed out for pvp% damage adjustments for skills, but let's not pretend here that Wizard/Witch have not been A+ for years

True, we have grab and retardando...you'll be dead before you finish the retardando, and the grab is completely unprotected and it's much wonkier and shorter range than most...Awakening wizard for PvP has since a long time being considered not even worth considering, it's trash, in PvE it's outclassed by almost all classes unless it's a zone where mobs get one shotted (Non elvia zones mostly).

Wizard is A+ in Succession for PvP, but not awakening. Problem with succession is, although I like it, I don't enjoy carpel tunnel with all the key combinations to make it work half decent. For PvE it's alright.

Agreed, Shai damage ratios are totally broken, but the 29% ones are by far the worst.

For those saying "shai damage works differently", explain why striker/mystics (classes than can grab shai out of any of her moves) get the same ratio advantage ninja did for many years before it was finally fixed.

A basic geared striker simply takes no damage from shai's highest output and debuffs, then can grab and kill it.

PVP class or not, thats just plain dumb!

This happened when I was fighting an undergeared striker at Navern. I couldn't do anything after getting grabbed so it's completely unfair but I end up outplaying him by running away a lot and do a sneak attack instead. If only our Sol was taggable or to get rid of the damage class ratios. Also, I would like to have a talent buff rework to create an AoE around the Shai class or stationary type so that we don't have to miss the ones that are iframing out of it. That would be so helpful and a lot more easier to buff any class that has insane mobility because they're hard to catch. c:
