Also please bring back Dragonblood: Flow: Extinction but give it the faster animation that you overwrote Dragonblood: Storm Piercer with.

I made a thread the other day with some criticisms of the Drakania changes, but after getting to spend more time with them I found it to be overall more of an improvement than otherwise, so I deleted my thread.

However, I still feel like it was a mistake to change Dragonblood: Storm Piercer's animation as it was a unique animation to her kit and felt very satisfying to use in combos. Currently it doesn't fit into combos as well anymore, outside of Dragonblood: Sundering Roar, but if you use it to combo with that like how the old Flow: Extinction worked, it leaves you with less combo options for the rest of the time you spend in Dragonblood stance. You've already set a precedent where Hexeblood and Dragonblood share some skills/skill names, so why can't she have a Hexeblood: Extinction and a Dragonblood: Extinction? Please?

I really miss the old Dragonblood: Storm Piercer animation and I miss how the combos using it felt. Please bring it back!!

I don't even know what the original animation looks like, I tried to search on YouTube and found nothing.  Do you have a visual comparison?

@Velvy could you specify what exactly you think is different here in the animation? I can't really see or feel a difference. Or maybe do you mean a different skill?

To add to your suggestions to change awakening: Add SA to Aerial Burst and remove the stun or change the stun to a different type of CC, either float, knockdown or stiff. For this to be a useful skill, it needs to either be faster at the start of the animation so you can actually use it to catch people (right now there's like 0.2-0.3 sec delay between the animation starting and the aoe dmg starting) or it needs more dmg in pvp. Right now the numbers for this skill are low (1265% x 4 with -53% pvp dmg). So there is literally 0 reason to use this in pvp and even in pve there are better skills to be used.

It's not the same animation at all. The old one actually had more than one hit to it depending on if you used it like a Flow or not, but also, the new Dragonblood: Storm Piercer is literally just the old Dragonblood: Flow: Extinction that was a follow-up to Dragonblood; Sundering Roar. The old Dragonblood: Storm Piercer literally just doesn't exist anymore. For whatever reason they thought re-purposing Hexeblood: Aerial Burst into a skill for Dragonblood makes up for the fact that they literally just removed the old Storm Piercer from her kit all together. The old Dragonblood: Storm Piercer used to actually be something you could use in combos like Dragonblood: Tectonic Slam > Dragonblood: Savage Decree > Dragonblood: Storm Piercer. The "new" Storm Piercer is slow as hell and does not work well in any combo except when used after Dragonblood: Sundering Roar, just like the old Dragonblood: Extinction, because that's exactly what it is.

The time stamp in the video you posted links to the old Dragonblood: Extinction, which is what they turned Dragonblood: Storm Piercer into. If you watch further into the video, you can see the old Dragonblood: Storm Piercer starting at 10:15. They straight up just took that entire move away from Drakania and I don't like that they did that at all. I liked that skill and it felt satisfying to use in combos.

Love how the devs just straight up remove one of her skills. Instead of improving them.
