I a gree with the post.

But one thing regarding NW shop.
Whats the point of holding a won node for 7 days, if you can access the NW shop only the day you won that node ?
And even if you get hold of max 3 nodes per week, you still can access the shop only 3 times per week. Thats makes zero sense. Unless devs plan is to hold crystals at max price...

Totally agree with all of this. I would love to see competition being a thing in nw again.

Pretty telling that for the first time a NW feedback post has received universal praise and no downvotes.
As a t2 player I agree t3 doesnt have to be capped; I'm not entirely sure about capping t2 to 670, as that is still a hefty jump from current/intermediate t1 caps as suggested (600 -> 670)... I believe I'd personally be more comfortable with 650 being t2 caps, as combat there isnt bad as such, and I don't think people would take it as an annoyance as they climb from 650 to 680-690 for uncapped.

I can understand that, and of course any stats would need to be discussed separately and considered properly. Keep in mind that my suggestion implied capped stats overall needing a rework/more detail and also to scale up T1:Beginner/Intermediate accordingly as well so the gap there wouldn't be as huge. There are also factors like what gear level do you obtain with game support (few months of semi active progress) via season, capotias, event accessories etc to hit that sort of softcap, and this would keep changing over time as uncapped gear progresses and they introduce more catch up mechanics for gearing up. If you fix caps so some stats aren't still boosted by being higher geared then there's an argument that you could be a bit shy of a gear cap (ie. The suggested 670-680) and still be able to compete the way players with slight gear gaps on uncapped do.

In this current approach to capped wars I do get your point though and it's among the details I'd want to break down further if this gets picked up for further discussion with chances of actual change.

Personally, I think T2 caps are at a good point for newer players to try out the increased damage/high punishment experience too. If you increase it too much you will end up with big gear differences between guilds, which may already happen with HP or special attack accessory. 

T3 caps the pointless ones from what I can tell and should simply be uncapped small scale.

Agreed with everything except the caps.

They should cap ALL the stats, not some of the stats, and let 730 Gs min-max their hp, special DMG, etc.

Right now if you are lower Gs, you are just as much in disadvantage as you were before entering in said capped setting, though your opponent instead of having 100 more total ap, will have the same ap, but 30% more extra special DMG and 5k hp more than you.

Thank you for this post, I've been looking on the forums ever since the patch last week (05/01/2023) and this is the first post to actually give feedback on the changes.
From what I can tell with being guild leader having contact with mostly nodewar players in and out of my guild, players aren't too happy about these changes and interest is again  in an all time low.

I'll voice my opinions and those of my guildmates from the perspective of a smaller less "hardcore" guild than most in the current nodewar scene.

Gear caps

These will never work in a game as complex and multi-layered as Black Desert.

Instead of capped gear you get min-maxed gear losing the purpose of having gear caps to give newer players a chance of competing.
It's already hard enough balancing all classes, now you have to balance them on 3 different caps.. Impossible.

Instead of having all these multiple Tier nodes that do more harm than good, have one Tier for "beginners". These nodes will provide all who participates with the same gear, no messing around trying to min max everybody equal with the same loadout.
Some classes will be better than others with the provided gearset but that's only one variable to figure out when everyone is running around in the same gear/crystal -set.

Node sizes

Why is it the higher you go in Tier the larger the size of the nodewar becomes?
I believe there are tons of guild out their who would love to fight 20v20s but it's just not possible in the current system.
And who gives a frog if there are 20 super strong players on a node, band together with that other guild of 20 and fight that stronger opponent. Where are the days of doing diplo on the spot according to what guilds are on the node.

Tier system

As a guildleader of a guild largely driven community-wise it always bothered me how high-geared players and lower-geared players need to be put into different guilds. What happens when a new players join a "Tier1" guild, does the player gear up and leave the guild for a non tier1 guild, which to me feels more like a bus stop than a guild. 
How is a Tier 1 guild supposed to live on if their purpose is to accomodate new players and be a bus stop until they are stronger to leave for uncapped nodewars? There is a fundamental issue in that alone.

There is so much more to say but I would love more people to share their feedback and use *Insert pronoun* Unseen's well put together post as template to write their thoughts and opinions.
