Hello, I'm back in the game.
and I see that the macros have received severe attack. I want to make a shortcut on a button of my mouse (Shift + right click) but you have restricted that, it does not work on G Hub. we are talking about simple macro here! no complex macro (bot)
I don't understand ! we are in 2023, we don't play the same way as in 2000! the world evolves, gaming evolves, our way of playing evolves but BDO does not want to innovate. if you don't evolve with this world, your game will die faster. this is evolution ! and you have to reform it. and then think, a handicapped person who has lost 2 fingers.... finally you are really people who think in the past!

As long as this macro does not exceed 2 actions/click, i see no harm, but a great QoL for these with advanced gaming equipment.

You will never get a good answer for this. Rest in peace. 

Theres a solution for that and that's called hotkeys. Everything else would be an unfair advantage for people that have programmable equipment compared to others. Drag the skill to a hotkey and use it that way, then you don't need to bind 2 or more inputs to one key. 
Btw macros have never been allowed, no matter how simple. If you did it before, that means you broke the ToS of the game at the time. 

While on one hand you might be a completely honorable person that would never use this to abuse the game, other people are not.

your 2 button macro for QoL in a few weeks would equate to people having 1 button movement combo macros and tas kill combos macroed to their hotkeys.

Well i do have SuperUltraWide display and i do have unfair advantage in PVP as i have way wider view range.

Same unfair advantage i get for having RTX 4090 and stable 160FPS while the rest lacking with 50-80 behind.

The fact that someone lacking equipment should not be the main reason for the rest to get punished/restricted.

You're right. intelligent reaponse. unfortunately intelligent and sensible people are rare.
they talk about advantage but I have a PC that is not powerful. the person who has powerful hardware has an advantage. wide screen, powerful graphics card, powerful processor.
the person who has money and who is going to spend a lot of money at the cash shop has an advantage.
so why is it so taboo to talk about macro? even to talk about macro for one or 2 keys. even a simple macro while investing money has always been for comfort and advantage over others whether in the cash shop or in hardware (even for a high-performance widescreen or 4K Gamer very performan to 2000$) I don't understand this irrationality.

there is also the fact that the world is changing. technologies lead us to do things differently. we are all changing and we don't have fun the same way we did 10 or 20 years ago. to adapt is to innovate. why not give the possibility to better configure the A, E, F keys. instead of putting the shortcut keys which do not work well for combos?
why the devs don't add implanted macros to the game? like World Of Warcraft Blizzard thought with evolving gaming.

a lot of people will get banned, but for what in the end? 90% of players have Gamer equipment.

in a changing world, punishment is not always the right solution. maybe it's the executioner who's behind on everything.

I am a reformer. punishment is rarely the solution ;)

more than that is in area of automatizing gameplay. (includin people that use stuff like that to abuse movement, like valk echo valk etc)

i wish you could remap some buttoms so you can stop developing carpal on one finger cuz that one class has 1 buttom that is used in every skill rotation.

Not sensible nor intelligent.  That's only the answer of someone trying to justify his need to find a loophole. 

Some players are playing in potato mode, they're also using IG settings to get a wider view of their surroundings. You don't need a high-end PC to get a advantages, let that for popular streamers who want the best conditions AND best graphics for their dear community.

Meanwhile, it's not taboo to talk about macro, it is simply useless.

BDO devs already made a big move by using a combat system with inputs which are closer from fighting games than from old MMORPGS. We're all changing? Yes, and games too.

What's the point of having a game with such a system if all you want is to go back to a plain automated system?

BDO devs have developed this system, but they should allow macros because players have gaming gear with integrated macros? Come on. 

Use your gamer equipment to rebind keys if you need it, but anything that goes beyond the simple rebind is a lame excuse for laziness.

(and I downvote this "Nvidia" guy obviously)
