So I've completed like 300 quests in like 7 hours after starting my first character. Then i went back to Olvia to finish every quest and discover everything and I got a quest from an alchemist lady asking for 9x10 ingredients. 8 of them were easy to obtain but the last one (x10 Fruit Of Enchantment) takes longer to obtain as the 300 quests took to finish.
Why is such a low level quest requires so much time invested to finish it? It kinda ruined my experience for now. I've spent around 3 hours now trying to obatin it. 1 hour+ spent on gathering wild herbs and ofc i didn't get any. I preordered x10 as well but nothing yet because there's like 60 THOUSAND people waiting for it. Then i started looking for the event NPC but OFC i didn't find it either. Last option is farming but that probably takes ages as well so I'm just skipping this quest until my preorder is finished..

PA logic: 

- buff PVE to a point noone do lifeskill.

- hide that you destroyed game by non stop events fom lifeskills producs  - fruits/hards&shards.

You can get them from ongoing event, afaik they need for something so that's why everyone buying it, noone gonna sell them because - noone farm them& no poin to sell them.

Its take like 10minutes to farm them ingame methods wise w/o any event, but its not worth sell them

Answer to the problem is for them to buff up Lifeskills (not hunting) to be more in line $/hr-wise as PvE grinding / hunting.

Then people will do more lifeskilling and more of these items that are almost non-existant currently will be back in full.

 PA's economy doesn't work but PA's pride don't allow them to admit they wrong (not only here, they wrong everywhere), main problem of PA's changing game is that they themself ( clearly after 7 years team changed) have no idea how game work and  they not paid/intrested to undertand it, so here we are,  very bad team makes very bad changes.

Opportunity to criticize game balance aside, the answer is that it's an optional quest. If you try to be completionist in this game you are going to run into a lot of that sort of thing, no different from any other game.  Right now you're just finding out where the bottlenecks are.  The market for an item is one clue, and now you've learned to check that.

Part of this is also the nature of the game - you'll find that many things require time consuming grinds, at all levels.  And a lot of RNG.  It' s up to you where you want to invest your time.

You'll also find that not all quests show up all the time.  Requirements can be character level, other (seemingly unrelated) quests, or that certain "crossroad" quests have been chosen.
