I got the problem maybe since a month, im running my computer since bdo launch in afk mode when im not at the computer for afk activities like fishing and horse training. It was always flawless all the 7 years, but now since a month...it started right after one maintenance BDO always closes itself in afk "tray" mode and i sure dont know why this happens... sometimes it just closes minutes after i went afk, sometimes it runs for many hours and does not close itself
(the computer never sleeps or hibernates, always running).

Anyone got similar or even knows why this is?

Well, this will not help you, just want to let you know, that you are not alone. ;-)

I had the exact same issue a couple of months ago and all the suggestions from the support team did not help.

After changing from Win10 to Win11 - not because of BDO, that was planned anyway - there are no problems anymore.

I will never find out, what the issue was... :-(

Thanks, i submitted with dxdiag.txt and logfile, maybe they have a hint, the client jsut closes i dont even know if its a crash. 

And it was fine for 7 years, i ran the computer the whole week afk, my char has 2200 days, so im logged into bdo since launch, this problem just appeared few weeks after maintenance.

And yes i run W10 still, but support can see all this in dxdiag file.

Hello, here i have the same problem. The game just close when i send it to tray in afk horse training mode. This is happening to me since this last month (in some patch during march). I've tried fishing for a week and it doesn't happens. Has the ticket of bug report submited??

I have had this problem occasionally for some time but it seems much worse lately.

I had the same problem as you since the April 12th patch. This may or may not work but try changing your graphics settings to something different from what it is now (eg: Low, Medium, High, Remastered, FXR, etc). That seemed to have solved my issue and the game hasn't been crashing in taskbar mode.

I would like to say that I am also experiencing this issue of game disappearing while minimized...

im having the same issue but happens anywhere anytime not even being minimizaed if im standing at heidel crashes the max time i have been without the issue is like 1 hour
