The problem is that these amounts of fruit are ridiculously small. Often it is 1 fruit per 10 seedlings. Even if we care about specific fruits, it is much better to just pick herbs and collect all the fruits.

Conclusion: the amount of fruit from farmed seedlings should be increased. Each seedling should give us 1-5 fruits (higher farming level = better chances of getting more fruits) (x2 for 2 slot seedling, x5, x10 for magical seedling). Thanks to this, farming would be profitable and the problem of a huge lack of fruit on the market would be solved (100-500k preorders).
