I enjoyed the story. It's actually pretty good for being in an MMO.

If you've completed all the tales in LoML, who is your favorite character in the expansion so far?

I would not say it's a masterpiece, but the stories are pretty good in fact ; there are also some funny references, for example when a kid is talking about "getting Jegi with it" in the new area.

But it's subtle, how could R mashers even see it?... 

I personally am enjoying the story of the game so far. It's quite decent for a game that launched less than a decade ago. It's not comparable to older titles, but it will take a decade or two to get on their level.

She only briefly appears at the start of the questline so which character introduced in the expansion is it that you liked the most? : )

I haven't paid attention yet to the new territory story since I haven't done the quests and I'm not in the mood for it: still missing Port Ratt, and I'm quite disapointed of the new zone.

But I am also of those who enjoy the main story. Sometimes PA lose themselves in too much aside stories but my interest went up when we finally found Jordine back. I wanna know what happens to him next, that's why my expectations are focused on the mountains, south of the EM. (where he left) Hasty to know when they release that zone!

So yeah, not a great story but quite good enough to catch me up.

Not to say they don't do a good job or anything, but stories in MMO's never interest me. In fact, the only game where I haven't immediately skipped every dialogue / cutscene is skyrim.
