No, they give you so much free daily silver if you are worried about 40mil there's an issue. Could always just you know use a ship and sail out there. 

You can always use transport ship in Oquilla, or use a Carrack.

why? Well although 40mill may be fair (i pay the same) given i rbf mainly and do a lot of social things, have no boat and don’t grind much (normally)

Then that 40mill gets in the way quite a bit, so with no anger or bitterness, i would just discount that part of the game. If that an issue for PA, if more do it then sure, need looking at. (sometimes i have to make 4+ trips in a day.. oof, to the point i thought, do i just horse/donky to Velia... then i thought, Magnus why? kinda defeats its purpose)

Point is, i think OP has half a point here :) maybe not free, but maybe  something.

For me; what fixes it all is biceptimusprime solution on a different subject… Change to tagging system, no more item copy but universal weapons like on mobile. They you can have an alt in you favorate locations, with access to all gear needed. BAM! Not just this issue solves but a load more in BDO. Ez

Ferry FYI: about an hour and a half on average, one way.  Three hours round trip.  If there were some more activities on the ferry that one could do besides maybe processing and fishing...  maybe a few NPCs for things.  It's a friggin' ghost ship. Or like everything else in this game that takes time, people want rewards. (A reward for riding ferries?! That would be bizarre...)

It's a fairly trivial cost to most of us, but it's certainly not for new players. And considering new players can start there, it should be revised.

Perhaps keep the cost as it is, but provide a more wholistic experience at the Land of the Morning Light (e.g., Imperial Delivery, Liana, Dalishain, Lara, etc. etc. I believe are all missing?), so we (especially new player) don't feel the need to be traveling to and from the place so much.

Edit: Also, we need a baloon ride option there.

Would agree with you, if new players didn't get free travel to and from LoTM for 60 days after creating their account. So that's not really a concern 

I'd rather see PA solve the bugs of the sea and travel to LOML normally, by navigating.

Also, there should be more "taxis" through NPC boats for those who don't have it (or those who lost their boats in a fight).

oh no 4 mintues of grinding needs to be done to pay for the round trip.

My main consideration with this new area and its cost is how separate it is from the rest of the land.

Sure its immersive that is cost more, or manual travel takes longer but lets not forget, there are a few missing options;

• You can’t set a character to transport via character select screen and play another. You have to play that character to move it (this is similar to Valencia area I guess)
• There scenery between mainland and land is not very attractive (visually and interactively - not great content, not what PA is trying to showcase/promote at this time)…  You would need a boat too; I’m so disinterred in water content, not up to par with what I can find in other games if I wish to experience that.

But I do here there is a ferry, is that lots of wating around? Or is it a reasonable time scale? (time sink or fun?)

As for, ‘4 minuets of grind’ ; I can’t see how that is a counter argument to opening an exception on fast travel cost  to LOML, given its unique location. And I know it’s not a 4 min grind for my low gear NA account (note, im not a new player on NA, but i am casual - yes i have spent a lot of cash dressing up :P) ;

• Its 5-10 mins prep, then go grind for 20-30 mins, then sell up are go to the magnus… but some people be elitist.

Sure for my EU account, 4 mins grind, 5 mins pre for that grind… years getting the gear for that grinding speed, but lets not count that, lets just hits down on people.. hmm anyhow :P (and LOML is New player friendly content, its not purly aimed at late to end game)

What needs to be though about is, is the emersions getting in the way for new players / casual players? (would say this contenet was marketed/ aimed at that target audiance?)

The extra time travle cost added as ‘content’, to grind, to pay.. its it balanced? Do players want dis? 

Cus either way, im gonna be just fine, but if other players partake in less of the content cus of things they see as silly and overbearing, then the game suffers.

Only way to know is to talk it out I guess.
