I'm not trying to be rude but can you explain why? I couldn't really think of anything game breaking other than it's just something fun, but impractical/useless for actual ocean content. More for roleplay and enjoyment, otherwise no purpose going out there. I'd like to know if there's any kind of exploit they'd be trying to avoid.

This is the equivalent of giving a Pegasus unlimited flight, and a Doom unlimited instant accels, no? So why not propose those too?

You could probably flag up and board someones boat, and potentially sink it, no? Then just hop on your horse and ride away with your unlimited stamina? Why not give Carracks unlimited Breezy Sail too?

There's no reason why a water dine should be able to run across the ocean to Moogle..

The new flight skill on mythical peggy is not a massive upgrade..  it basically covers the distance from heidel CM to heidel storage.

Diné feels lackluster and there aren't even that many benefits (because very few use cases) for unlimited water walking. It would just make the horse fun to use and to play around on the sea. Right now, I will just park my t10 Diné at the wharf manager and take my carrack. It shouldn't be like that.

You shouldn't want to take your Carrack..a boat..into the sea? or the ocean? Over a horse with no cannons? I'm not sure I get where you're coming from. What exactly do you consider "Play around on the sea"?

nah, peggy unlimited flying is just broken, that even beats dine if you can fly over the sea. Also, the peggy's upgrade is not a massive upgrade only by eye, but once you used it, you'll feel its much much better that you thought. I would say it IS a massive upgrade. Even though the horizontal length it travel is not that long, but the huge vertical height it gains, makes it u can "jump" (or fly) most terrains and even climb up mountains. Compared to previous t10 peggy, who can only speeds down. However its a bit clunky at the moment, because after peggy's new skill, the rider actually lose control over it. Which is different with current dine, "suposed to be water horse" but couldnt travel the water freely. Even if PA really wanted to limit the dine water travel, the current water stamina mechanic isnt a good one, the having to stop on island to island doing nothing for few seconds is just bad. Maybe its still ok, if 3 or less seconds to regain a full water stamina. Or maybe remove the water stamina but slightly increase the normal stamina usage on water.
