We shouldn't support removing mechanics as a solution to a problem. Look for example at the Total War series, CA killed their games by removing mechnics instead of fixing them!
A better approch would be to let crystals lose 10 durability instead of shattering each time and make the 4 outer crystal slots unbreackable!
(and make the +2 extra slots from garmoth heart familiy wide pls)
But again, this would be a band-aid and not a real solution. Don't forget, behind it, there's also the notion of punishment, but dedicated griefers will remove their crystals and avoid any heavy punishment, while the poor disconnected player will lose a Girin.
That's the problem in BDO, dedicated griefers are less punished than occasional pkers / unlucky players / players who made one single but lethal mistake in their grind.
I'm saying it for a long time, devs have been piling up band-aids, that's enough. Now it's the time for a real and long term solution.
(lets exclude griefers out of the discussion, if you are worried about them just introduce a debuff which makes crystals unbreakable for 10s once you are hit by another player)
Let me ask you a question, why did PA origionaly implement crystal break?
They also implemented exp loss for pvp death. And they removed it.
When an idea is bad or outdated... Well, you see what I mean.

In the past the only think you have to worry abaut was vipers who was siting in MP and u can counter the spots by having gear(dp,dr and eva) now u cant one desyng and u are done for even if u graind for long time and you mess up some mechanic you probbliy end up death to you can die even in underground gyfin what we are talking abaut non of this make sense . And btw why you are not doing Dekhia Ash Forest now ?
Nvm, i get the feeling you guys just want the system removed no matter the consequenses. Always the easy band-aid fix instead of a proper...
I give up convince you guys, I just hope PA does listen to the good the feedback.
Yes let's agree to disagree

It's like a AAA company fighting agains piracy, mostly punishing regular players when pirates don't care at all.
Griefers are just an excuse to hold everything in dirt instead improving QoL for players so they don't quit.
If you can't get exactly what you imagned you need to attack everyone who disagrees, even if they have a better suggestion than you.
It is useless to argue with people with this attitude, because they do not need passive actions (words), but active actions (experiences) to change their point of view.
