310 AP 420 DP (yeah right) Grind zones is not content.

Dungeons nobody asked for is not content.

AFK Anything is not content.

Last time i had fun was grinding for Pot Pieces at mobs that die in 1-2 hits while trying to avoid other players.  Now with Marni realms in those areas and with the new Marni Realm recharge and Guild Dec changes, new ppl will never have to experience those things lol.

Everything is just a chore now.  You gotta do weekly boss rush and dark rifts, you gotta do dailies and check your farms, collect scrolls from black spirit, catch horses, turn in imperial cooking, turn in your afk fish, do LOML dailies etc etc etc.  No wonder ppl stopped logging in lol.  

Yeah kinda funny how we have drop rate event every other week now, devs are really thinking that it will bait in players.

Meanwhile we have the least amount of reasons to even bother getting gear in bdo's history. Everything is caped, and even the open world got removed, so why bother? Spend thousands of hours to get gear so you can grind on spots that give half the money as tuvala spots give lul? Not like highend bracket would have any point, you're getting less value from 1trillion worth of acessories than using a single perfume lmao

A perspective from end game..

I personally hit end game about 7-8 months ago. The most exciting thing that happened over the past year and a half is when I crossed the 700gs mark.

Soon after I realized that I was no closer to finishing this game when the stark reality set in. 

I personally dont like life skilling, I tried hunting got a sniper rifle realized that they never perfected it (waste of time when a masters matchlock at grass rhino is top pay).

Outide of fishing that is no longer worth the cost of electricity leaving my puter on all night and day. Let us now mention the dumpster fire that is BDO stability with the current crop of random error less crashes sometimes 8 to 20 a day

This also goes for just about ALL content in BDO, you push and push to get the best gear.... Then you find the reality that there is literally nothing waiting for you at the end.

This is exactly my 1st thought.. can I grind 310ap 420dp... yup.. is it fun having to use 2-3 combo's to kill a pack of mobs...

How about this if your RNG sucks and you don't get any rare drops <---- this is me, Now what instead of 1.4 bil per hour your lucky to get 700 mil?!?!?? I can goto Aakman with a 650gs awakening valk and 1/2 skill mobs and make 800+mil per hour with zero expensive elixir rotations AND zero worry of gem loss.

Still I don't see ANYONE i know there are players but I literally don't see another white dot for weeks now.

So here is what end game is currently like for most of us.

I work 10-12+ hours per day I start at 04 and don't get home most times till after 6 with drive time.

I don't want to grind so I enjoy sitting in discord talking to friends hopping in RBF and BA to find players just standing talking. So I am in Heidel jumping from roof top to roof top for a few hours before I goto bed.

Outside of Node wars were A majority of guilds are pushed back to T1 or T2 yes you heard me T1 were all this gear means nothing I go and fight 30 others becouse PA screwed up Node wars YET AGAIN for some reason they just don't listen. 

The game might have players but they are not actually participating in anything, there is no incentive anymore to be a part of a guild. 

CONGRATULATIONS PA you finally turned A MMORPG to a complete RPG experience the only thing we are missing is BDO mobile auto grinder Which I am sure is soon to come.

I am still gonna be here, I hope that some of these changes get fixed and PA finally realizes that those of us that love the MMORPG genre are here becouse of the multi player portion. BDO has always been a somewhat solo experience but you have completely taken any possibility to have any interaction almost off the table.

After 47k hours in BDO the only thing I can wish for is a swift end that will never come. Is it bad that I hope one day I log in and they just turned it all off. At least I would have fond memories of the game instead of dying a Slow painful death brought on by the very developers that state they love this game. 

You 'don't gotta' do any of the things you said. Just do what you find fun or go play sometning else, or go for a walk, read a book etc instead.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say perhaps the reason you don't run into people to PvP much anymore is because majority of players don't like that.

I know some players are devistated they can no longer force PvP on others without consequence, but they can always PvP with those who WANT to.

Not everybody uses a Marni Zone. It's a great way to allow all players access to zones that would be monopolized constantly. That way they can grind for silver and get a gear score high enough to maybe want to participate in PvP without being terrorized by game bullies who think they own a certain rotation.

I agree with you, I have almost 10,000 hours in the game, compared to you I am quite new but still 4 years old in game. The game was beautiful in all its poses with good and bad. Now it's just a game on the brink of self-destruction.There is a fight between the old players and the new players because the new ones haven't experienced what we experienced, for them to grind 15 hours a day is nice because they are still at the beginning and they want to grind for gear. They will realize that they will be gearing up for nothing in a few months and will give up the game, it being too late for PA to fix something with an extremely large loss of players. Trying to close the gap of years of work between the gear of the players (between the old and the newppl) they have now found the worst solutions. 

For new ppl on forum:

1.)There will always be the idea of a metaclass that changes from one class to another, some being forgotten for years. You struggle in vain to learn a class because a new one will appear or an old one will receive an extremely large buff and everything you learned will be canceled from a one-shot skill.

2.) You will struggle for months to collect money to get a new equipment that will give you a bonus that is not felt either in pvp or pve.

3.) You will realize that the difference in money made at the bigger spots where you don't have access now depends too much on luck or increases by a maximum of 50,000,000/h. You work for months to earn almost nothing.

4.) The most pleasant experience in the game is standing on the discord with the teammates in the guild and the periodic battles together.

5.) In the rare situation that you really like the game, you will adapt to taking pictures and doing life-skill semi-afk, likewise for nothing because of the grind you make 2 times more money.

6.) I forgot to specify, the new content is repetitive and forced, so I hope you don't have too much hope for what they announce. Beware of enchant roulette.

I remember a time when Siege was an actual community activity. With its ups and downs as with every social activity. But people were actually striving to get in there, be salty, be braggy, but be heard and socialize in a way that made the community a living, interacting organism. It was interesting, even to the non participants. Now you got a Siege Report.
I bet that the time another developer even says anything about this combat system being developed for another MMO, BDO will start to really die out. Unless of course they start to fix things up. And even then, they will have wasted so much time milking that cow, that black market will flourish and still leave PA with their KR release.

A very good friend of mine who tried to play the game but left after a couple of months, summed it up perfectly.

"this game does not respect your time" 

And the mobile game is so much better. Sad but true.
