Anything past 2000 gathering mastery seems like a waste... Why bother making PEN Manos Gathering gear and tools then?  nearly 70 billion upgrade did nothing.

It requires pen accessories and tons of buffs to get over 2000 mastery in gathering using tet tools and clothes.  6x pen accessories is expensive, and those buffs are not always easy to come by.  The point of pen tools/clothes is to save buffs or avoid using the drastically more expensive pen accessories.

Step 1 - Find out if your invesment going to pay out and how fast. Not gonna lie i didn't do detail investigation and etc, when manos was added i did ~rough asumtion and understood that even if TET/PEN Manos going to pay out its not going to happen.

Free TRI manos from shakatu was the way.

The point is that if you already have 2000+ mastery, why get Manos at all?

As hard as Manos is to get, shouldn't it include a special buff?  Like extra monster AP for Blackstar?

And let's not forget how OP gathering in Season Servers with a magical tool...................  Gamebreaking that.

So, if Tulvala is all you need, and gathering in Season is all you need..............

I figured this out a long time ago. I got "V" tools, tri accessories and IV armor along with full capped gathering stones ( the new gems made it even easier).

BDO is in a inbetween place right now where none of the gear we have matters for anything in the game ( this started when AP/DP brackets and bonuses were introduced). Nothing  NA/ EU says is going to change anything in this game it has to come from KR players. The "Feedback" is  read but not heard and there has been some great ideas given to them on betterment of BDO, ". Where my Dwarf class at Mr. J!"
