It's hilarious hearing "it stops running when the game closes" as an argument when most of the players just leave the game minimized when afk

Exactly this! I had BDO 24/7 running in the tray since 80% of my BDO playtime is AFK horse riding....

Comments: Please don't re-add XIGNCODE3 back to the game. I played this game in 2020(and still playing it) because it had EAC and got rid of xigncode3. Xigncode3 makes the game run worse, it's worse than EAC and it's a rootkit. If next Tuesday there's gonna be a SYSTEM Security change update I'm just gonna uninstall it and return when EAC is back.

Last time I ran a game(blade and soul) with xigncode3 on my old computer xhunter1.sys was still on my PC even after deleting the game (because they said after uninstall of the game xigncode3 will be auto deleted) and I had to manually delete it from every nook and cranny.

Almost all Anti Cheats are Rootkits. XIGNCODE3 is not at Kernel Access. IF it did you would need to reboot your computer when we update to install it.

Also did you uninstall like you claimed? I say you are likely still playing.

How delusional you can be ... is reaching new heights.

Not only is mentioned on Wellbia's website but also, if u had the bare minimum PC knowledge you could find out urself how XIGNCODE3 function and you would not embarras urself with this post.

On top of that, looks like PA gives around 0 flippers about EU/NA playerbase (Even they ignore the fact that 63% of their global income comes from EU + NA) and they went forward with implementing this thing.
Well is 2024.... there are a quadrillion of games out there waiting to be played.

F in the chat for BDO. It was good while it lasted

Agreed.  Just uninstalled.  Maybe I'll check things out again someday if they remove xigncode and improve some of the other major problems, but the longer I stay away from BDO the more I realize it's just not worth it.  So many other games to check out that aren't buggy CPU-destroying malware engines, it's ridiculous that such an out of touch developer like PA expects people to put up with this nonsense, exposing their system to risk and damage, just to play their game in 2024.

It's infuriating that despite our collective effort on this forum, genuine complaints, and valid points raised about BDO's decision on XignCode3. What won't change is the relentless crashing making it impossible to leave your PC running for long periods of time to make use of the both active and semi-active nature of the game. And what of our privacy concerns? It's not surprising that this company remains indifferent. What's truly disheartening is the lack of noise from our community (Streamers with freaking NVIDIA Blackwell GPU's, GigaChad CPU's, and Nuclear Reactor Power Supplies). Some may downplay the significance, but the performance gap post-XignCode3 is very noticable for countless players (Looking at you AMD community). In a game where immersion thrives, should we not collectively be outraged that others experiences are ruined by a CPU-devouring malware posing as an anti-cheat tool? We should demand a standard upheld by games like Elden Ring, Sea Of Thieves, Apex Legends, and others, utilizing reputable systems like EAC. The GMs, entrusted with our NA/EU servers, turn a blind eye to Twitch comments (Literally wall of comments about XignCode3 and Endlaive says "So how about these Shai changes y'all" lmao), a real betrayal of their duty to make a fun and secure gaming environment. My comitment to BDO, both in time and money, has plummeted since the introduction of XignCode3. Hopefully someone gives enough of a damn from PA, the GM's should voice these concerns to their higher ups and consider what this has actually done for the game. If they provide before and after reports of performance, incidence of hackers, bugs, tickets surrounding tech-related stuff, etc, I can be convinced. I am not one to hold a position till the day I die, show me evidence that it's better and I'll listen but to ignore and pretend that these concerns don't exist is mind boggling.
