To show appreciation to the players for spending so much time, electricity, hardware, and money playing their 8~9 year old game lol. Not a joke. Sellable to the MP of course in case a lifeskiller wants to sell theirs.

They could just make a choose one box of accesories... not sellable on the market place... cause that's more reasonable. If a TON of people get sellable accessories all at once, then the game economy will get thrown off. Plus, that's typically PA's style when giving something of huge stat value for free.
(Don't get me wrong - I'd loooove to be able to sell something for 100+billion, but I doubt it'd ever happen.)
