Hello,
I have a question regarding the recent anouncement involving Fallen God weapons and was wondering if I could get some clarification. In the anouncement only Blackstar and Godr was mentioned for the preceeding weapons that transform into the Fallen God weapons. Was that simply an oversight? The amours all supported the use of boss gear why is it that weapons require blackstar? I think it is really odd that the new weapons require blackstar as someone who has 3 boss weapons I now have to replace them with 3 blackstart equivalents which is basically a year of grinding... This has been rather upsetting news would love confirmation / clarification.
Thanks!
It's because c20 is way off from pen be in PvE, fallen god is for some reason PvE focused not pvp. So yeah dump the zarka dandy kutum and start depression for getting 3 pen bs.
I really really don't see them excluding 75% of the boss weapons in the game ngl.
-dragon slayer will probably be excluded because noone remembers it exists.

Yeah this is what I was hoping for but I would love a staff member to confirm.
I doubt there is any specific information out on that already, even for the CMs and GMs. For now, we have to wait and see until the LoML Extension is released.
It would be a bit strange to exclude a c20 boss weapon for FG upgrade considering how there are currently alternatives for FG armor (c10 giath-griffon, pen blackstar).

Indeed. There will also be many enraged players, since PA promised that C20s would always be equaly to Pen BS weapons in terms of pvp.
This the thing about this and I am just speculating here. If the weapon is a pure PvE weapon boasting better Monster/ Kama/Demi human damage with the same accuracy, and Attack Power, I can see them wanting a Blackstar/ Godr ( Blackstar off-hand has shit stats compared being the weapon it is).
If they smart the will make these weapons quest based, items are not hard to get for Blackstar/Godr, and C20 weapon holders. Off hand and I have said this time and time again should ve more so for PvP due to it requiring a Blackstar and a C10 Nouver for a mix of offensive and defensive stats ( Nouver would have a use and be wanted again).
In closing, knowing PA and Jae with his stubborn attitude for real improved change, he'll make a bad decision and make it where you will need " V" Blackstars for all FG equivalent weapons just so more people will buy costumes and artisans.
We will see though but as a triple " V" blackstar player I'm all in for C20 regular weapons being exchanged for FG weapons.

You're attempting to discount and dismiss Tens of Thousands of Caphras stones dumped into a single mainhand or offhand compared to a completely randon number generated result which many people have already tapped to with just the annual J-Hammers that are issued out.

Given his greed and lack of empathy with the players, I wouldn't be surprised. Well, there is always Guild Wars 2.
