if we walk away then the game will surely die, i cant speak on behalf of everyone here but i love this game despite all its problems its still a good game and im hoping this year we can see some ground breaking changes to elevate bdo to the heights its always deserved

Depth of Crafting is good, but the game needs to help people learn how to do things better. They slowly started to add things like hidden AP, etc. I mean you should be able to pull up caphras chart, ap breakpoint chart, experience of crafts...

If the black spirit is too much of a jerk, then they should add another, nicer buddy companion. Maybe something "light" haha, and it can be like "ask the ______" Like light spirit, why is Red Nose armor more expensive than Dim Tree, what are the benefits of getting it... = INFO!

The gear thing is a big problem. I think they should add pity enhancing stuff. Like stones to upgrade from Tri-tet and tet-pen. On season, they made it so that you can't go below tri, and honestly, that's a bit of a joke. It's funny to see what a difference it makes, though. That was too large of a step, but it's good they are trying, I guess? I never understood the season... naru, tuvala... baby enhancing stuff, to get people into the real world where they are slaughtered by impossible odds or billion silver prices.

Basically, they need to make more ways you can progress. Questing could give pity enhancing stones because some people just enjoy questing. Grinding mobs could, too. You could still hit with stax, but you'd know you'd get it eventually. You will get it eventually anyway, with stax, at least that's how I've played, and it's worked for me, but I've heard stories of people who failed an impossible amount of times.

Some of it is just... this is BDO, but yeah, it's hard to imagine this is the best route for player retention or money making.

It wont die if I just walk away I mean collectively as a group, if we stop fighting for change then in their eyes they will see it as nothing is wrong, its our job as players and consumers to give developers feedback on what we like and don't like, just like celebrities games are made by their dedicated fanbases, if no one plays the game that means no one is spending money and if no one is spending money then the developers can't offset the cost of actually running the game(advertising, servers, paying staff, etc). And I did take a break, for 9 months actually (stopped end of feb 2023- came back end of nov 2023 and been playing since), overall the current state of the game I am not satisified with, I like the qol changes and improvements, balances and such but there still needs to be alot more done imo

good advice. the devs are doing a great job and always know what to do. they have never been wrong and have never made a mistake. pearl abyss is infallible. the playerbase needs to just stop giving feedback and buy more pearls 4head 

BDO is not for everyone but i like bdo as much as you dislike bdo.  i actually like lifeskilling.  i do not beleive other games have such an complex lifeskilling experience.  and part of playing is just enjoying the beautiful character creation and enviroment.  All i do is lifeskilling so i can't say anything about PVE or PVP.  I've been playing for almost 3 years.  and i have been killed several times by players out to kill everyone in there path.  But mostly nobody really bothers my gameplay.  i hope that you might find one thing that you like about BDO and start there. 

i do have a complaint about training horses in bdo.  I was able to go from cooking guru 20 to 29 within a few weeks.  but one day of training a tier 5 horse, i only leveled up 2% at master 5, using 3 scrolls and 5 pets.  Training is so slow.   i actually bought a new keyboard so i could use the shortcut to train sprint.  and now that sprint is 100% trained, you cannot buy a low level female horse with sprint. ontop of that i have four T9 dream horses which i never thought i would own.  i wish training would get an overhall and make things more fun.  i see many other players who love horses and think the training horse/breeding game could be taken to another level.  it would make training for the love of horses and speed up mastery progression even without much monetary rewards.   i hope other trainers would share their thoughts.
