i honestly dont understand why they left out wizard from this change. id be less surprised if it was simply a matter of someone forgetting to add it to wizard than they actuzally thinking we are fine with mana shield in melee as it is now.

Going by the blurb, they're focusing on making witch more defensive and wizard more offensive. Given the burst damage and high crit rate wizard has is already allowing them to out perform witch in at least the various capped content modes, it wouldn't really make sense to buff wizard the same way. It's nice to see them treat the classes as distinct for once tbh.
