Can you people please stop cutting corners on the mediah track. I think PA should put of barriers or an off track penalty time. It's getting out of hand!

Why don't you just cut corners also? It's in the game, therefor it is allowed.

I guess that's the point, the game should be enforcing all the checkpoints, and it doesn't seem to.  There should be more of those, and everyone should have to hit them in order.  That will still allow normal corner cutting on the 'rough', so to speak (what's the auto racing term for that?).  So I wonder if this behavior is a bug, and it could be considered a design bug in any case.

Meanwhile, sometimes the folks going off track really don't gain anyway, and often lose.  I just race my own race, still lots of room for improvement there : )

The checkpoints ARE enforced. The corners that are being cut lie in between checkpoints. There are a couple of places that where, if you cut the corner, you'd NOT go through the check point properly and it won't count it for you. When that happens, when you ride across the finish line, you're short one of you check points and the game counts you as "not finished" with the race.

Huh. Could have sworn there were places they missed them.  I did notice a few DNFs from that, so that could be it.
