As the game has progressed, there has been one aspect I've seen become more and more of an issue: Ongoing quest count

I'm tired of having to forfeit quests that are halfway done, just to take a daily/weekly quest or an event/boss quest.
Some quests aren't the easiest to obtain progress for; Requiring a long upkeep in your current quest list.
Especially if it's a kill mission, gathering mission, or one where you turn in material - If you forfeit it, it restarts your progress.

Imagine you're in a Party/Platoon and individuals want to take you Sailing - No one wants to have to wait on individuals to forfeit 10+ missions just to make room for the dailies/weeklies 

Or if you're at capacity and Garmoth spawns... but wait, now you have to quickly delete a mission, to take the Garmoth Kill mission
(What if the mission you deleted in haste was one you were wanting to work on next)

I propose increasing the capacity so people don't have to constantly give up progress towards other missions.

It's been a constant issue of the people around me, and myself - I believe it's something that can be easily resolved.

Yes plz, 40 to 50 active quests would be nice

I have come to realize if I actually did my quests instead of just grabbing every quest I see then never doing them, that if I actually did my quests I wouldn't have this issue.

They need this badly. Eventually I learned to not accept any family quest on any alt that I might not do immediatly. Lets just start w wkly reset and liana/bartering quests. If you grab all from liana and I have alts at OE/PE to grab the bartering it's like 33 quests not counting triple float every 3 days if its there. Then I gotta do and hand in at least 8 before I go bartering because Illya got 6 plus the 2 you grab for tinberry and the supplies to illya. That's all I do so anyone who plays alts or does any other dailys plus those must be massively inconvienced by this limitation.

It def needs to be 50 imo.

I remember being a new player and picking up every single quest I saw in the region I was in. With there being even more quests in general now, I think we definitely need more in-progress quest capacity!

This is sorely needed. And it's not just a matter of "manage your quest log better" or "only pick up quests you are actually going to do." Every daily and weekly is a family wide quest. And to make the best use of our time we need to pick up all of the daily quests in an area at once to minimize running (or sailing) back and forth unneccessarily. Which means sometimes picking up as many as 24 quests at a time (sailies) when the maximum capacity of the quest log is 30 total. You'd better hope you are not in the middle of any Liana quests when a sailies group forms or you might have to forfeit in progress quests.

Increasing the quest log cap to 50 is a great idea, and it is long overdue.

Absolutely! I believe they have mentioned this before in a Q&A that they really would like to add this feature but have difficulties figuring out how to make it efficient so it doesn't cause a huge performance hit. But regardless, I think it's worth that they revisit this idea at least :)

Since there's so many quest updates these past few weeks, I'mma bump this thread - I believe it'll be useful. Especially since there's been a sailing/barter update - urging more individuals to do it, lately.
