Thank you.
yes this is the way. If a guild decides to do NW or Sieges, its a PvP Guild and therefore should be able to be declared on. This would still keep newbes and non PvP players save, without destroing an important part of the game.
Yeah, I don't see too many issues with this.
7 Day limit, with 14 Day CD on that guild, the receiving guild can accept the war request to keep it going beyond the 7 days until either guild cancels.
There doesn't need to be any limits beyond that. You never have to ask permission from the person you are attacking to attack them everywhere else in the universe, why should it be any different in BDO.
The whole "dec to grief" was made up by the actual griefers a long time ago and PA just bought it. If PA did something about rotation griefers decs would never have been used as a self defense tool against griefers in the first place. With marni, 5 minute CDs, removal of black robe and all the other changes 1 sided war decs with no restrictions really could be brought back easily.

Lol. No. It wasn't made up. PA had the data. My guild personally experienced it. I think that time limits and cooldowns would be required if one sided deccs return. If the purpose is to protect grind spots, then set the timer for an average grind session - 4 to 6 hours, and put a 4 day cool down on it. Nothing longer is needed.

Data can always be manipulated to show whatever you want by ignoring the parts you don't want.
Yes the issue was made up, because it was not an issue in the first place. Guilds that got perma decced did something to the guild decing them to begin with, usually attempting to Karmabomb, mob feed, or backstabbing in node wars. No guild anywhere ever got permadecced for no reason, there was always a reason, the people that got decced on just cried extremely loudly.

Well, many of us experienced perm deccs for silly reasons like personal grudges (people admitted to as much), being corrected in chat, etc. So, no. The bullying happened whether you experienced it or not. I don't agree with eliminating one sided deccs altogether. I would bring them back with reasonable timers and cooldowns. To pretend that the reason they were removed never existed will get you nowhere, lol,
Example: Someone was griefing me during the grind, I declared war on him. He called four other guilds of the same nationality, and instead of a war with someone who deserved it, I had a war with five guilds. Fair? I don't think so, this situation has been repeated very often.
The system was abused by people who didn't bother to find a spot or rotation and later hid behind their colleagues' backs.
Sometimes the reason for receiving a war was that someone had lost the DFS. He later used his colleagues to show that he had not lost.

What a typical example, happens all the time.
1.) Reinstitute old war system.
2.) Make protections available for anyone on the guild roster who wants it.
3.) Profit?
