Yeah, it seems to have lost something. I am gonna probably play it again soon, though. There isn't much out there.
I have no idea why they decided to 'streamline the game.'

They adopted the short term income strategy which is why everything is so against what it used to be

An important factor in these threads is that there is a small group of disgruntled players who are actively trying to damage the game by spreading discontent and misinformation, although they do not even play the game. In this situation, it is difficult to take many complaints here seriously. Delete repetitive complaints by 20 players and you get a completely different view of the game.
Example: In a thread about the view of PVP by veteran players, where other players than the 20 complainers interacted, the view of PvP change in the game was either neutral or positive. Spreading discontent is an old, known, and dirty tactic.
And if you take any anti PvP/PK topic and remove the same 20 person you will find that everyone likes PvP. Well you try but failed.

Pearl Abyss is currently focused on accommodating new players who may lack experience or knowledge in the game, which is a common occurrence.
However, it has been observed that the majority of players who have remained loyal or returned multiple times are experienced veterans. This group of veteran players is feeling overlooked in favor of bubble-wrapping newcomer's experience, thus dulling the spirit and essence of Black Desert.
Various individuals have suggested potential solutions to address this issue, including one of my proposal for a balanced approach of maintaining 1-3 servers staying traditional alongside 4-6 servers being exclusively PvE servers.

Games are about having fun. I'm a returning player from 2016 I played from beta till kamasylvia launch and I wasnt enjoying the grind and fighting to progress at that moment, that's why I left. Now that things are sweeter, I came back and I'm enjoying the game again and even more than before. I just want to enjoy and have fun not to be the best or among the best on gear upgrades. The only thing I dont like is that the majority of the rewards are horse stuff and im not interested in T10 horse at all is a waste of time and energy, it wont make me any more powerful. I wish o would get other stuff than those fruits and the red feather, a yellow feather to get a T5 pet would be more useful.
