Suggestion: When decorating a house, I like to push in my chairs to the table to look nice and neat. However, then it makes the chairs unusable to those who want to sit in them.
If I want my chairs to be usable to my guests, I have to pull all of them out very far in an unnatural, sometimes cluttered way. Even when a chair does have adequate space to sit in, it's annoying to get that perfect angle and sometimes end up clipping through the arm rests.
My suggestion is when highlighting a chair furniture object, add another option with Controls that allows a command "Sit". When a player choses the option to Sit, it will automatically move the player to sit in the chair in a natural position.
When a player stands up, have their character return to their original position when they entered the Sit command to avoid spawning into an object.
This change would be a great help to home decorators, screenshot takers, and RP'ers.
With guild manor coming up it would be a huge addition. Imagine the screenshots. THE SCREESHOTS!!!!
Definitely!!! It'd be really cool to have an entire guild sitting down looking like they're drinking together in a guild manor :)
Agreed. =)
It would be really nice for things to look more natural! It's so hard decorating when your chairs have to be arms length from the table and even when you sit in them it doesnt look like you're even at the table because you're so far away.
Exactly! Would definitely help with immersion
