With green thumbs minigame introduced, I would say it is time to reduce the energy potion cooldown to max 3 minutes.
Then again, why even have a cooldown on this item at all?

I agree.  Other cooldowns, like cron meals', have been drastically reduced.  Why not energy?

I don't agree. I can make pretty nice money gathering. I did turn off the minigames though because I think they are worse overall unless you luck into a mega roll of good mats.

What I think they need to do is adjust the minigames to where it rolls each thing individually so you get more mats and it takes less energy. You get hedgehog gains, etc, and you don't get crap like 100 blood or 100 blood and 20 fairy powder. That's a big investment energy wise for that.

You can just wait and pot back up if you want. Sleep in your +2 bed, use energy lightstones and pot. It's not like it takes awhile, but it does make you stop for a sec. However, I generally gather and then stop at 0 and move on to something else.

If there was no cooldown on pots, there would be like 31093259083290823 POs haha. I know you'd get your other character's energy, but you'd never get a pot off market. Plus all the mats would tank. Would be wack, I think.

Just be easy, 10 min = 50 energy pot. You can't go mash some ore or something while you pot back up? Or you just wanna infinite gather?

I still believe the problem is with the minigame... ble @ minigame.

I guess it depends on your playstyle and time you allocate to BDO.

I for one play 1.5-2 hours straight a day and the option to "wait and pot back up" every 10 minutes does not work for me as I am afk or offline.
In addition, I do gathering on a specific alt, where I run the appropriate lifeskill buffs, so for me to go and do something else on it while on 0 energy would mean to lose the active buffs as i would need to rebuff.

One solution would be to keep the energy potion cooldown going even when switching to different alt, but then you'd have to time/guess when the cooldown is over to relog and pop another energy pot - quite inconvienient.

What i was saying initially - the energy consumption rate has gone way up with the minigame, but the replanishment rate has stayed the same and that needs to change.
