After the patch on 06/19/2024 with the changes in evasion and number of hits, I feel they have gone too far. In my opinion, they have completely destroyed the open-world and capped PvP game modes. Classes that scale with evasion, DR (damage reduction), or are hybrids, and whose role is not to be a tank, now do not lose health even if attacked by twenty players. This is not to mention the various passive healing abilities they have.

Furthermore, classes whose gameplay is indeed to be a tank, with their passive defense scaling, can literally go eat in the middle of a fight and come back with more than 50% of their health intact.

I'm oppening this thread to hear the opinion of the entire community, especially those who engage in PvP content, about these changes. As I mentioned at the beginning, I think they have destroyed the entire PvP system.

This patch is terrible. I was expecting it to be bad, but not this bad. e.g. - i was expecting to 2-3 combo people. that was my expectation with this patch. But its worse than that. you are full comboing and taking 300hp off of someone's 8k hp bar. its not 2-3 combos - its an 8 minute duel involving over a dozen if not 2 dozen ccs. its legit pillow fighting. youre just slapping around til someone gives up.

1v1 is officially dead

also: there is a DR threshold that im sure someone will test and find out - but if you are below it you pop, and if you are above it you dont die. they may have added 5% DR breakpoint to pvp. probably the whole thing how AP is calculated. If it only counts 5% of the AP below the DR threshold like in PvE, then that would explain the insane scaling. If youre above that threshold, you just wont take damage

Which if THATS true, then why werent the players told about this mechanic?

Please, PA, the issue with time to kill was not ingame stats, or at least not to the extent you've gone in tweaking them. The issue was with specific classes and general power creep in the game. Universal nerfs and targeted ones to specific classes, followed by a diversification of ingame (pvp) content is what we need.

Dont throw away this beautiful game. Please.

At this point, a Turn base combat system would totaly be better than this mutation. Shai never had grab, block or relevant PVP combat mobility, then they took the music exclusivity, and they left Artina Sol weapon copy restriction, and all shai could do was, survive in PVP to provide support to the party. Now there is not even that.

Shai has officially become useless in PVP.

How is that an "Improovement"?

Unless in korean, improovement means F*** Up

You peaked my curiosity. Tell me which classes whose gameplay is to be a tank also gets kills on top of living. I play one of those classes and can guarantee you that the trade off is not nearly doing enough damage.

Additionally, Im curious as to where your thread was about evasion memes being able to kill people while having 20 people attack them pre-patch. Can you link me to that?

We still have classes like Musa, Ranger, Sage, and Drak doing an enormous amount of damage even to high stacking DR players.

Yesterday I had a duel against a Guardia and was able to bring it to half life with two combos. (Over 420DP). Same duel today... I couldn't even see if I did any damage at all.

What is this nonsense?

My last hope has vanished.
