The other day I was thinking about how to reduce sea monster damage and I tried the Monster Damage Reduction Artifacts well they don't help at all. In fact I have not noticed any difference in the damage recieved since I upgraded my ships blue grade DP gear to +10. Also the sea monsters are demi-human, why are they demi-human and not monster classification. We just need some answers or info, I guess it's just me but things don't seem right when taking damage. The Valor is supposed to be the combat ship right? Well it don't feel like it. Should have spoken up a long time ago.

So not to CONFUSE anyone.... PA could you please look into adding something like a mount damage resistance artifact. I would love to see this or add a crystal I can put into the crystal inventory that would do the same! Thanks

Yeah those artifacts reduce dmg to you character not like boats or horses. The valor plus 10 cannons vs like a plus 10 cannon barter boat advanced or w/e there is a big diff in how fast you kill sm w more dmg and faster cannon fire so it is a combat ship.

I am not talking about the damage, I am talking about damage resistance........ I had the blue cannons +10 a loong time ago. If this is the case then maybe we should be able to get a damage reduction for mounts... but I guess PVPers would be able to abuse it with horses I guess.

There's a Durability margoria crystal, the top one give an extra 20 000 to your ship. Im not sure how much a diff that actually makes though, i have it but never used it, before I got the nol i'd use the extra damage margoria crystals in combat.

Lightstone sets such as AP ones or Species dont affect damage against sea monsters. Separate. 
Only thing that will increase a extra cannon damage against sea monster crystal (Zulatia/Margoria Crystal prefferably)

Do you people not read! I don't want more damage! I want damage reduction! Its pretty clear BDO players do not read...

There is no other way to get more DR on a boat other than better gear my dude
You can also use the same crystal i said to get more Durability, but its not DR, its HP points.

If you want durability resistance, i dont know if its possible to brand boat gear with it.
There is also a lightstone set that gives that effect but i dont know if it affects the boat gear.

Thats why I put this in feedback not general..... I hope they might add something! That's it, I will edit my original post to say I hope they add something then so people don't get confused. Of course its my fault I get it.
