Miss Myo vs. Mister Turt, Who's the Winner?

Greetings, Adventurers!

I've been summoned once again to share my adventuring notes. Specifically, today I'm here to help you with a quest added to celebrate the summer period 2024: [Weekly] Miss Myo vs. Mister Turt, Who's the Winner?

This guide is based on the official information you can find on the event page. 

Keep in mind that you can complete this weekly 2 times per week during the event period.

◈ Guide Step by Step

STEP 1: Travel to the Sea Palace

During the summer event period, the Sea Palance is accessible from 3 portals.

Terrmian Beach Whirlpool Location (event access - usually not available)

Velia Whirlpool Location (event access - usually not available)

Ooldool Strait Cliff (Land of the Morning Light) Whirlpool Location (normal location - always available)

STEP 2: Talk to Darong and get the cheering ticket!

STEP 3: Watch the race between Team Miss Myo and Mister Turt (or their substitutes)!

Papus can spawn instead of Miss Myo, and Otters instead of Mr Turt. However, this is not going to affect the result: you always have a 50% chance of winning.

STEP 4: After the race, give your ticket to either Sarong or Seorong based on the result!

If Miss Myo or Papu wins, Sarong will appear. If Mister Turt or Otter wins, Seorong will appear. If the NPC you cheered for loses, you won't be able to hand over your cheering ticket. Thus, you won't be able to complete the weekly.

STEP 5: Collect your victory reward from Hyunyong!

You find Hyunyong in the lower part of the main square, in front of the place where Darong spawns.

◈ FAQs

Q: I tried to enter a whirlpool (Sea Palace portals), but I died/lost a lot of health! Why?!

A: To enter the Sea Palace avoiding fall damage, you have to trigger the diving animation. You can achieve this by pressing Shift + W + Space while facing the ocean. Taking some space to get a running start is advisable.

Q: I entered the whirlpool (Sea Palace portals) and my mount died! Why?!

A: If you enter a whirlpool while mounted on a ship or Mythical Diné, your ship or horse will be destroyed/killed and will not follow you to the Sea Palace.

Q: When is the race?

A: The race will take place at the o'clock of each hour from 10 AM to Midnight CEST. 

Q: Where's Darong?

A: Darong spawns in the 5 MINUTES time window PRECEEDING each race. You can find him in the lower part of the main square of the Sea Palace, in front of Hyunyong.

For example, let's say you want to place your bet get your cheering ticket for the race happening at 18:00 (6 PM). You need to reach the Sea Palace and talk to Darong in the time frame between 17:55 and 18:00. Darong is going to appear at 17:55 and disappear as soon as the race begins (18:00).

Q: My champion lost! What do I do?

A: You'll have to place again the bet for the following race, just like you did for the previous one. The ticket for a race expires in 1h. Thus, you'll have to restart from STEP 2 if you lose.
