I never cared for the pvp systems in BDO, though I was a pvp player in every other game I played. Most of these ideas aren't my own, but I figured I'd make yet another post about them.
Guilds/Alliances: Remove Alliances. Maybe at one point in BDO history, they served a purpose, but that time has passed.
Guild cap should also be lowered to 75. XL from 61+, Large from 45-60, Med from 30-44, Small 1-29.
Siege: Reduce the tankiness of the towers. Too often now the sieges that are actually fought are 3-4 hours because the structures can't be damaged enough before they're tapped back to full health.
Nodewars: Change the caps to 30/40/50. Make it 2 types at each level, capped and uncapped. Instead of placing on Balenos, you'd pick 30 capped, or 40 uncapped, etc. To keep it interesting, shuffle the regions, perhaps daily, or weekly. Instead of Balenos being 30 capped, maybe it's a 50 uncapped, while Valencia is a 30 capped.
Remove Elephants from all capped regions.
Remove flame towers/hwachas near a tower when it's taken, even if that just places it back into the inventory of the person that placed it.
When a tower is taken, add 5 minutes to the time, up to the time limit.
Balance the tier caps, so you feel like your class regardless of the cap. Perhaps even add gear like AoS so people are all using the same gear, and it's easier to balance.
Red Battlefield: Remove the point buff/debuffs and all other buffs/debuffs. Gaining an occupation point should just increase the score you get from killing the other team, not debuff you when you're near it. Losing badly shouldn't give you buffs to try and balance the teams, just let the players get better.
Arena of Solare: Your AoS score should be per character, not per family. If you're at 2000 with a nova, you should have to do placement games if you want to play a striker.
The buffs/orbs should be removed too. It should be one team against the other, not throwing in random buffs/health orbs that can sway the battle. Not everything has to have RNG added.
Emergency Escape: Remove the CC at the end. I believe it was added when people were using it offensively to get around players for node/siege. Instead of the CC at the end, add a 3sec AP Penalty high enough that it's not worth to use offensively. Remove all positive/negative effects as well. Not buffs like elixirs and food, but things like +/- crit/healing/bleeds and the like.
Arsha: Remove the base 50 drop rate. Every week, rotate a grind area that has the full 350 drop rate without using scrolls, and acts as agris is on without using any from the player. Turn off crystal breaking in the area as well. That should funnel most of the players to that one area, and make people fight for the benefits.
Gear: Either make all gear with pvp stats so players can defend themselves when someone shows up to attack them, or allow a loadout where players can instantly swap gear/addons/buffs.
War Decs/Karma: With declaring your guild a PVP guild, one sided decs should be allowed between PVP guilds, or it automatically makes it mutual. As we don't know all the info about that, hard to know how it would all work. As for karma, it's almost to the point where pvp should have to be consensual on normal channels through decs. Red players who choose to stay red don't care about the karma, and people who go red on accident just get frustrated with the system. Again, would need to see how declaring as a PVP guild would change the systems.
Guild League: The biggest failing I hear from people is the queue times. You finish a match in 5 minutes, then have to wait forever for the next match. The matchmaking seems to have issues too, but perhaps more guilds would queue if they weren't sitting around waiting for their next match.

Really good points but it's been almost a year asking for the same changes. Nothing will change cause devs won't read any of this.
Good propositions that would make the game more fun for sure with two exceptions:
When you change player caps the highest one for nws should be same as siege. It just makes the most sense for managing guilds imo. And I agree that it should be 50. 100 is way too much for the current climate. PA eroded pvp community way too much to have 100 caps in the game.
As for the Emergency Escape proposition removing the animation at the end and giving the player -AP won't stop them from grabbing you or throwing a protected cc right out of their V/Emergency Escape since there are a number of skills that u can use from hotbar even if your weapons are away etc. If they were to make this change the game would get really fucking annoying because it effectively gives every player an iframe stealth engage. Imo they should just keep it the way it is and allow the player to extend the V or Emergency Escape at will while they are in it via holding the button. That way you would have enough time to change direction and go somwhere else if you are getting followed.
Otherwise I agree with the post and would like to see these things in the game pronto. The game needs good smart updates and content now more than ever not another weapon with 10 enhancement levels of aids locked behind another 10 hour long questline most players don't care about thats gonna be delayed for months due to localisation...
Personally I would prefer if the Animation at the end of the V would be SA or iframe, but still visible. This way you can avoid getting CCd directly out of it, but it still gives the opponent enough time to see the new threat again and react accordingly.
Ah no just make it full iframe but after you came out of V your damage will be reduced and you can't use your bsr for 5 seconds. It will automatically remove offensive plays with v from the game.
